I love the look, feel, and setting of the mad max universe from the movies and you’ll definitely find it here. It has jacked cars, guns, leather jackets, and a huge open world map to explore. The story isn’t bad but I didn’t play it for story but rather the experience of upgrading your vehicle and exploring the map. Loved it!

If you don't have this in your games library then shame on you. Graphics are great, atmosphere is spot on, cars look true to the world of mad max. Only thing that it doesn't have that would have been great is random encounters with other people playing the game, sort of like how they did the multiplayer in the crew. Other than that....a must buy

If you're a fan of cars & an open world, then this is a must have purchase. Upgrading the car is so much fun. Taking out clans of bandits is top notch fun as well. Any fan of the Mad Max series will enjoy playing this title. Especially the PS4 version, which has exclusive content

This is a game that I wasn't sure of as it was coming and I still wasn't sure after it released, but I am a huge fan of Mad Max and I had to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. This game isn't perfect, it drags at times as you wander the wasteland, and the story is practically nonexistent, but it's somehow still addicting. It has the same feel as some of the more recent open world games such as Batman AK and Shadow of Mordor. Same fight feel, and same quest structure. The controls for driving (which you do ALOT) are tough to get used to, but it gets much better the longer you stick with it. The game really captures the feels of the Mad Max universe and I think it captures the movies' feeling quite well. The best things about the Mad Max movies are they are just great action movies to sit and enjoy without thinking too hard and this game nails that. Basically, the game is good, clean, action fun!

Very fun game! Surpringly great story, even without George Miller's input! Great graphics, fantastic environment! The only things I didn't like is the combat system is kind of meh, & there isn't much music played while driving. But overall I loved this game!

Mad Max is a huge open world sandbox game such as Fallout, however this game is severely underrated. If you like an old school combat but yet beautiful sandbox and story line with kick butt graphics pick this game up! This game is underrated because of the other bigger titles that launched in September of 2015.

It's unfortunate, and a little mind boggling the way most critics reviewed this game. Mad Max is a game that, if you are looking for reviews to validate, you need to check user reviews, as most are positive. The graphics in this game blend well with the atmospheric conditions of a wasteland, and the developers did a great job on matching the tones one would expect on a game like this. It's obvious they put a lot of heart and effort into it. There is some repetition in Mad Max, but there is plenty to do, and some of it just never gets old (i.e., pulling down towers with your harpoon, etc...). If you are a fan of open world, and if you liked Shadows of Mordor, you will LOVE mad max.

Open world, brutal combat, Road Warrior theme. What's not to like!? If you enjoy the road will your franchise and feel like you want to be a part of it yourself, then this is a game for you. Very true to the movie, both the vehicle action and hand to hand combat feel brutal and heavy. A definite must-have for fans of the franchise and probably for anyone who's played the Batman Arkham series or Shadow of Mordor and loved those. These are all Warner Bros. interactive games and the combat feels incredibly similar throughout all of them. The only beef I really have is that some of the side missions can get repetitive after a while. But this holds true for most modern video games anyway. Still great fun though. So go on, jump into the last of the V8 interceptors and head out into the wasteland! You won't regret it.

I have been itching to play fallout 4 and seeing that I loved fallout for its desolate post apocalyptic wasteland setting and borderlands for its crazy over the top character, I thought I would go check out the movie that gave some inspiration to both of these games. I loved the movie and so i preordered the game hoping it would hold me over a bit until fallout 4. I didn't expect much, but I ended up with a really fun game that makes you traveling the wasteland feel like you are actually vulnerable to lack of resources and protection. The gameplay and fighting mechanics remind me of shadow of mordor/batman, which i also enjoyed and while the side quests are not exactly witcher 3 esque in the sense that they are deep meaningful stories behind them, its enough to make the whole game experience enjoyable.

Has a large open world with a lot to do. The story is good, as well as the characters. The car customization and photo mode are strong points of the game. Some of the side quests get repetitive as expected with any open world game.

Overall its a decent game. good graphics and batman type fighting mechanism. Controls were not very smooth and felt a bit uneasy. haven't put much time but so far the story is not very interesting and flow is not even or natural.

I loved the fact that it was an open world. From different rank opponents, cars and of course the storm! The storm was simply my favorite. From gusty winds, to lightning strikes, to fire, it was perfect. I loved the story and how everything was detailed. It is a must grab!

Love this game so far - graphics are great, gameplay is fun, combat is awesome (especially the vehicular combat) - controls are a little weird but I got used to them quickly enough. I was worried I would be disappointed with this game - definitely not disappointed.

This game is actually better than I thought. I bought it during black Friday just to be on the safe side but I wouldn't have mind paying full price. It's a game that you have to spend a lot of time on. Fun

This game is a good game. If you are looking for something to occupy your time for longer then a week then this is the game for you. Lots of places to explore and items to collect. If you are a fan of getting all trophies then this game will keep you busy for a long while. Vehicle Combat is a blast but the melee combat is more or less a dumbed down version of the batman arkham combat. The melee combat is still fun. It's just not a deep in depth system. The graphic are good but you will run into some framerate stuttering every once a while. It's noticeable but goes away quickly. If you are a fan of the mad max universe then this game is a must play!

Typically video games based directly from new movies can be dreadful, but Mad Max is certainly an exception to that general rule. The overall presentation, story, graphics, sound, and gameplay are all solid, while nothing in particular really blew me away or made my jaw drop. While the game may not be as gigantic or lengthy as some AAA titles like Fallout 4 or The Witcher 3, the content Mad Max offers is a very fun 25+ hours. If you are a fan of the movie then this game is obviously a must buy. The Best Buy deal for this game was as usual the best you will find anywhere with Gamer's Club unlocked. Overall 4/5.

Check! Badass cars! Endless landscape of rust, rubble and sand! Gameplay, Graphics, Story, and endless vehicular manslaughter! A must for Ps4 players collection!

If you were to jump into the mad max series, this is what you would expect, vast wasteland, scavenging, modifying your car to survive the harsh world, and pure adrenaline, I haven't beaten it yet but I'm loving it!

They need to add an option to review the controls because if you forget the button configuration it's a tad aggravating. Otherwise, good graphics and gameplay.
