No double jukes! No right/left stiff arm! This game has been disappointing, especially coming from someone that has played Madden since '99. I purchased '08 on the ps2 before I got my ps3 and I loved it, it was great. But when I got my ps3 I rented 08 just to see if it was the same but with better graphics and gameplay and I was so shocked that they changed the controller config just like the XBox 360 gameplay, which is not for true Madden players. It was like learning how to play a new game. Hopefully they'll go back to the controller config of the ps2 in madden 09 or at least give you a config choice.

First let me say, I've been playing Madden games since they came out. Visually, This game meets my expectations hands down. However, I enjoy playing francise mode and unforunately, this game is seriously in trouble. Whenever you edit a player his age becomes 26 and his contract changes. That wouldn't be a huge problem but whenever a free agent is signed or a player drafted sometimes they end of with goofy numbers. I enjoy realism (if it's in the game, it's in the game) so a tight end with the number 9 doesn't do it for me. I would not recommend anyone buy this game but if you must, you've been warned.....

I've been playing Madden since 2000. But this one has to be the worst ever. The animations seem choppier, players look akward, and you lose the feeling of being in a packed football stadium. Maybe it's just the PS3 version that is suffering from the frame rate, but I don't think the graphics are just PS3 exclusive. I can't say because I didn't buy the 360 version. (Had to buy something for the PS3) On the plus side, I like the playmaker controls and more pre-snap audibles you can do on offense and defense. Although they've had that in previous games before, aside from the playmaker control.

Game play is a little slow but is better than last years. The graphics are also outstanding... a must have for all football fans.

The graphics are a step up from last year, and I like alot more. It is lots of fun, and is bound to keep you entertained.

Gameplay and game art is great but sometimes it seems that things just don't work like they should like playing franchise with the titans and have won every game by 60 points.

one of the best madden football's yet,if you dont but this game you must be crazy.the players tackle hard on every hit,the players have special abilities that they can use exaple:randy moss has spectacular catch.the computer is even harder so if your looking to finally have a good match, play madden 08 on all-madden.then tell me what u think about it as you get blown away by the best madden yet!

madden 08 is a good game. the only glitch i have found in it is online when you try to punt it away or kick a field goal and the meter goes from full to just about nothing. this is by far the best madden yet and i love how you can make your own team in this game. its not like you just make a team name, you can design your whole stadium, your jerseys, and your team type. overall its a baller game

pretty much the same as last year... but u cant go deep every play which is good.. buy it if u are a good football fan.

This game is flat out great! It's better then all of the other football games out there. I recomend this to everyone!

This is a good madden. I owned it it played 128 games.Madden 2009 is going to be way better. Get it august 14

madden 08 really stands out from all the rest. from doing the summer camps when u first start off to the games. in madden 08 u don't play the whole game. you play the position of your player or just the person you choose to play. at first i was like whoa i don't know if i like it but i came to like it. madden 08 is more realistic making you feel right there in the game.

This game has great graphics and is interactive in every aspect of the game of football. Highly recommend!

Madden 08 is the one of the greatest sports games of all time, joining Ken Griffey Jr Baseball, RBI 99', NBA 2K and of course MVP 05'. The PS3 has revolutionized the way we play video games. I'd recommend this game to any avid sports lover. The lag mentioned in the cons happens once in a while, but never in an actual play. (mostly with replays, post play)

A must have for fans of the madden franchise and the NFL. addictive gameplay and realistic graphics

The game is good but it could have been a lot better. Overall though i like it.

Again this year the PS3 version has Michaels and Madden a no show in the game. "EA Sports It's not in the Game" The homer radio announcer is very weak. Online has a delay on all kicks. Not as bad as the Dreamcast days but hey PS network is free. Probably end up returning it and getting the PSP version. Good thing I had GC when purchased. Definitely not worth the 60 dollar prce tag. Better luck next time EA.

This game runs at 30 fps on the PS3, so it runs better on the Xbox 360. Still a great game, but not 'as' great.

I loved madden 08. the all new weapons feature adds a whole new element of realism to the game that was never there before. graphics are perfect! gameplay is unparalleled even though it lags when you play online, but dont let that discourage you. madden 08 is a must have!
