I bought it for my boyfriend, he picked it out himself, it's hard to get him to stop playing sometimes. One cool feature is you can play online with others, but you have to pay for that. My boyfriend did the trail & liked it. Overall well worth the money for the game.

Always been highly critical of Madden, it seems its the only game that is always extremely flawed and extremely good. Unfortunately time will tell if this Madden makes or breaks (dependent on post release patches). So far the new improvements (WR/DB interactions) are much appreciated. Brings a whole new level of fun and strategy to the passing game, especially when playing couch co-op. Everyone has been focusing on the new WR/DB controls, but the true showcase in my eyes is 5 different passes you're able to throw (Bullet, lob, medium touch, high arcing, and low). Finally as a player you can command the air and choose exactly how to throw the ball, and catch it. People would assume that gives the player a HUGE advantage over the computer, but EA countered that by speeding up the passing animation, literally giving you a split second to decide how you want to make the catch once its thrown. At first it is very challenging and slightly overwhelming, because players went from a simple pitch and catch to deciding how to throw it, where to throw it (directional passing is still there), and how to catch it. But after getting the hang of it, every pass play almost becomes its own mini-game. The menus and transitions are finally smooth and fast, like they should have been 2 games ago. The graphics and subtle monolith presentation improvements are a nice change. Ive seen a few complaints about the replay camera angles, but Ive yet to experience that. All my replays look great, and really show off the new mechanics of the game, especially on jump ball TDs, such as fades. The presentation overall unfortunately is still somewhat lacking. A few commentary lines were changed/added, such as when the Pats/Seahawks play each other. Although the commentary does seem "quicker" this year. Such as when I make an audible, Phil Simms addresses it immediately, and commentary lines during gameplay seem to line up better with exactly whats on screen. Unfortunately there are some penalty bugs, which is to be expected with the addition of all the new penalties. I've read quite a bit of complaints on the online play, but I dont play online so I have no comment for that. This game is truly better reviewed around October, when the major patch comes out. But as far as initial impressions go, this is the first Madden in years I've played and actually got excited and amazed during games, rather than flat out ticked off. The 5 different kinds of passes, paired with the 3 different kinds of catches, really give you a chance to succeed in this game and feel like you're in complete control. Any Madden junkie will tell you about the passing frustrations over the years (no arc, sitting LBs, receivers not fighting for the ball) all those problems were remedied (so far) and has made the game rewarding again.

I have long been a skeptic and not a fan of the Madden franchise in recent years. Though there are still things in owner mode that I feel should be addressed or reintroduced (ability to completely customize a moved team not have preselected choices). The defensive play of this game is stellar and really feels like you're making a legitimate impact. I think the probabilities of some plays like interceptions are a bit higher than they occur in the game, but the hits are as realistic as they come. Definitely worth buying.

While I agree with the masses the Madden Series needs a complete overhaul or for the NFL to release the license to other developers. I found Madden 15 very enjoyable to play with a lot of replay value. I am the type of Madden player who loves the Franchise Mode and everything thing I wanted was in the game. I was happy with my purchase and look forward to 16.

This Madden is far and away the best entry in the annual football series. Graphics and gameplay have both taken satisfying leaps. That being said, there are still a handful of "money" plays that plague the series like always. The franchise mode, while competent, lacks any sort of spark or personality to give it long term staying power.

Madden '15 is a great football game. This franchise just keeps improving.

Madden 15 was an improvement over the previous iteration. It suffered at times from "Robo QB" where the CPU's QB couldn't throw an incompletion. Rushing and pass rushing also was easy at times.

Same Madden, Same Game. Very easy controls and all around fun!

Not the best Madden year. The new play-select menus have an animation that is slow, so it is difficult to sort through different personnel/formations quickly. Also there hasn't been an update to the announcers in a few years.

The game is fun it's not the greatest in terms of actual gameplay but overall I would suggest it to a friend if they were just looking for something fun to do in their bored

This is really only a game those looking to buy the 60 dollar roster update in August, but this is one of the best maddens in years. All of the gameplay features are great.

This Madden game is the most realistic Madden to come out in a while. It is not great for button mashers but if you love football games this is the game for you.

Madden gets slight tweaks with roster updates each year. This game improved upon the previous one and the controls were very similar to previous editions.

I hadn't played a Madden game since 2012, and 2015 was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed many hours of gameplay in Franchise and Online modes.

I love Madden and purchasing this was basically a no brainer. Gameplay is extremely smooth and unbelievably realistic. Love love love it

Patches made it better. I recommend Madden 16 regardless. Madden 15 is good if on a budget, though some plays are undefendable.

Usually get bored playing madden usually go for FIFA or NHL, but enjoyed this game it was a good bargain for what I paid

madden 15 was a pretty good improvement from madden 14 but they still need to make some major changes to the game play

This game is really fun for a sports game and really fun with friends. Graphics and gameplay are awesome, better than the last one. Online play is also fun and challenging. Great game all around.
