This Madden is by far the best one they have put out. For me, someone who does not typically play many sports games (Although, I am SUPER upset that we xbox one gamers do not have a decent MLB game anymore, only playstation gamers) is hooked! There is so much to do and the roster, audio commentary, etc. are updated daily keeping this game entertaining for hours. I just never get bored!... Now for the Deluxe version.... I am not sure why but all of the extra packs it is supposed to come with (you get one weekly, for so many weeks) stopped coming. I think I only received up to 3 packs total so that is kind of disappointing.... but it is still a great game. I just wish they would bring back team play where you can play on the same team as your online friends... but who knows... all in all.. you get an amazing amount of gameplay for the price so well worth it. Oh... and ULTIMATE TEAM is sooooooo much fun!

The game is more realistic which is great, there are a few glitches, but other than that this is an excellent game.

As the owner of several versions of the Madden NFL games, I think this most recent version is a solid game. Better game play. Better graphics. Disappointed that not enough improvements were made to the connected franchise.

I find that the latest version of Madden is probably the best. Its a given that the graphics is excellent on the XBOX, but player control for the passing and running game has definitely improved over last year's version. The passing game is definitely more challenging than last years implementation which seemed almost to be too easy even at the ALL PRO level. I've always liked the ultimate team variation of the game, but the online draft champions mode is also loads of fun too giving you the option of drafting a team for online play so that you are more or less on equal footing when going against other online opponents.

Game is progressing with each release in graphics, sound and overall realistic look and feel of players, stadium, etc. This is endless fun!

I usually buy a new Madden game every 2-3 years. This was the year to buy it as I had just bought an Xbox One S for my son. Leaps and bounds better than Madden 15 and the game play is great. The new features like being able to block kicks easier and more lifelike tackling and breaking tackles are awesome. I would definitely recommend it. MUT seasons is also awesome. I love being able to complete a full season and only play the moments that matter in the game. It actually makes finishing a season fun and not drawn out.

Made all the right improvements. All around best madden yet. Franchise has improved depth. Ultimate team worth the purchase alone

They've gone above the improvements from last year. Gameplay is smooth with almost every cutscene skipable instead of being forced to watch it. Similar to last years catching diversity they've done it with all types of ball carrying. Making jukes and spins easier and more effective. My favorite mode is franchise and that's changed a little. Playing as the coach there are tons of big decisions to make. Worthwhile purchase for the average sports fan, a must have for NFL fans

Madden 17 for XBOX Deluxe Edition. Best football game there is. Another great game By EA sports. The deluxe edition gives you free Ultimate team packs and tickets. One free all-pro pack a week. All kinds of challenges and new features. Madden 17 has new run features that make it more realistic than the past versions. The best game yet in a long line of Madden's. If you're a madden fan you will love this years.

This game is more realistic than ever before. The players look and move like a 3D movie !!

Good graphics, MUT is about the same. Haven't tried the new chemistry style of building. Kicking is different this year...more challenging then the old method.

EA did a great job improving the ultimate team. They now reward players for playing.

I love madden and I have been playing it since the early 90s. I absolutely love this new one. The only thing I'm not a fan of is if you choose player franchise mode, you can only control your player. Too many times, the player I hand them all to or throw the ball to makes a stupid move and gets tackled when they had a wide open run. Otherwise, everything about this game is amazing.

Great new features and improved graphics. Never disappoints every year.

Purchased this game the day it came out. It's pretty much the same game with new rosters and updated game mechanics. Franchise mode has been improved. However, It's still difficult to upgrade players due to the limited amount of XP earned per week/game. Online gameplay is basically the same. You now have the ability to choose your uniforms before the game begins and the commentary is more accurate. Overall, I would recommend this game. It's an improvement from last year but not a game changer.

Fun game, ultimate team is improved and fun to play

Right off the bat, the mechanics are finer tuned, more sensitive and an overall challenge. The game itself plays much better than '16. While the sensitivity gives you more control when running the ball, tackling involves more skill. Must grab for any Madden fans, this one does not disappoint.
