The graphics are great. Play is smooth and fluid (better than pS4 version). Too expensive for what it is though. There's not a lot of new features and modes from previous PS5 version and even PS4 version. Also, youre really mostly paying for roster updates more than anything else. In a perfect world, if you owned the previous year's version of Madden, the latest version (current year) would be $10 or $12 dollars. If you dont care about roster changes and just like playing PlayStation madden football, just keep playing last year's version (in this case Madden 22 -- which is decent). We're still playing NHL 18 and if you dont care about player updates (which we dont for hockey) then NHL 18 is decent and fun. Likewise, if you own a Madden from the last couple of years, keep playing it unless you get Madden 23 on some amazing sale.

Great game. I play it everyday. I love it. I especially love the tributes they have to John Madden. Hearing his voice brings back great memories. And the pictures of him with Pat Summerhall is very enjoyable as well.

I bought the game because John Madden passed away. I wanted that picture of him on my game I bought. I played the game and it did not disappoint. Love the graphics and it was great game to play.

This is the best Madden game I've played in years! New system, but easy to pick up. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is a lot of fun. Greatly recommend it.

My son thrives in these annual updates to Madden! He loves the graphics and how unbelievably realistic this game is! Would recommend to anyone!

We have previous editions of Madden for the Xbox. Purchased a PS5 at Christmas for the kids and love the Madden graphics. Even I was able to figure out how to play with them.

The game that started all the hype keeps getting better! Game play and player likeness improves again this year. Create your own player...are you the G.O.A.T. or run the organization. Madden keeps it exciting!

Madden 23 is a great football game. Very comparable to Madden 22 but the small improvements and changes they have made in this version really make the game that much better.

Much different than Madden 22. Glad i updated. I would say 4.5 stars as the game takes some getting used too in order to learn all the new gen updates. Yay for next gen consoles!

Madden football hasnt changed much, but kills time

i love the madden franchise and this version is just as good as the rest! I am not sure why some of the scores are low not sure how much you can change an annual game each year

Bought for my grandkids, they can't get enough of it. It's an animated game that looks so real. You can also purchase items for the players to wear to your liking.

Awesome game play this more than any other incredible after all these years still outstanding now play with grandkids works great on PS 5. I have it loaded on the ssd.

The game is good and feels line a real game. On PS5, it looks so awesome. My 6-year-old thought it was a real football game when i play it with my son. Highly recommend

This version of MADDEN is a well put together game and has allot of game modes for you. graphics to game are fine, and its worth the buy for any sports fan!!!
