    I don't mean to be harsh on the title, but EA has been so lazy with their Madden franchise that has gotten stagnant and stale. It's quite obvious they only care about their cash cow their Ultimate Team mode and could care less about actually giving their users good NFL gameplay. Current Gen is a better version than the last gen versions but not by much and not enough to warrant the cost. Get this on a sale and enjoy your slightly better tackling heavily animation dictated game / glorified roster update. Otherwise just stick to Madden 22 and wait for 24 to hopefully be better. (Spoiler: It won't.)

    Very glitchy this year. Content of cards seems ok but but game play very inconsistent and D-dense is not near as good as say 20 or 21.

    Bought this for my son, I don't play it, but he likes it and I only buy digital anyways, and never had a problem buying from best buy.

    Mixed review for Madden 23. I have purchased Madden every year for the last 10 years and the changes are small. Madden graphics are better this year than last, but don't know if it is worth buying every year for the roster updates, etc. Gameplay is ok, but can be frustrating due to some of the players/plays that just can't be beat. Hard to recommend.

    The best game for the best coach to ever live. Was expecting the same old release of last years game with this years make up on it but this game is different and can honestly say I was surprised how much better this game is even compared to last years Madden title. Not perfect but definitely recommended by me

    There are inherently some drawbacks to this franchise (pay to play, etc). But this newest edition is a pretty good version of the gam.
