This is my 3rd Magellen, and I find these very easy to use and very accurate. For a unit with lifetime maps, this was priced very reasonably. I have also experienced good customer service with Magellen, which is another reason I feel comfortable recommending this product.

it took a bit to get used to using this one. once we figured out what everything did it was pretty easy to use. it is frustrating when the addres you want to enter is not available because of the qwerty text - i tried turning it off and it still stayed on.

Over all happy with purchase. Good for a beginner.

I like the GPS features and available updates but the map does not always show directions soon enough. Changing the plus/minus goes back to default right before turn. Also, power plug in on wrong side. Almost made for passenger use not driver.

Good product for money. I like Magellan better than my friend's Tom Tom.

Voice is not loud enough, volume not adjustable. Announces destination in street address terms, not by the name as the other Magellan did. Otherwise, good for the amount paid and for the simplicity of getting from point A to B.

I love this GPS so much that I bought 2. One for my husband and one for my child and I may be buying one for my sister and myself as well. This product is easy to use and has a number of features that make it fun to use. I highly recommend it!

what I liked the best,was the day I bought it I plugged it in and it was so easy to navigate.the screen graphics were awesome.i need to read the directions to learn more options.it looks good on my dash.i am glad I made the purchase.

This is my 3rd Navi, my first Magellen. The address entry is much faster on the Magellen, and the help while navigating is better - it provides extra details like "just after the gas station". It also just makes a little 'ping' exactly when its time to turn which is much more effective.than repetative voice instructions. I take it with me to use when I travel to CA and it is much faster at adapting to the new location. Lifetime map updates are a bonus, at the price

Magellan - RoadMate 2230T-LM 4.3" GPS with Lifetime Map Updates is a good and improved GPS for use. It alert you if there is hold up on the road, speed camera, red light camera. It is easy to operated. The navigation is excellent.

Have continued to purchase Magellan as I have found the brand to be easy to learn and use. Appreciate the additional features such as finding gas stations and restaurants!

As a GPS goes, it's head and shoulders above Garmin, but still doesn't give adequate warning about lane shifts or changes. However, every other GPS doesn't do any better.

While on vacation our old GPS stopped working, so we ran into Best Buy and purchased the Megellan RoadMate that was on sale. Great investment and easy to use out of the box.
