Replacing a defective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Magic Chef MCD1311ST for many years and liked the design but it finally wore out. So I bought the same model again. (at Walmart.) It turned out to be defective, making a loud grinding sound after running about 30 seconds. I returned it and bought a new one because I like the design (+ 4yr extended warantee -- which I normally wouldn't do) this time from Best Buy, hoping the new one is from a different manufacturing lot.

Stainless steel in and out

Love this microwave it heats up and cooks your food very quickly and the controls are simple to use

Good free standing microwave with a nice handle

Microwaves all work pretty much the same way, and although some are not that intuitive to operate, this one is very easy to operate - it has the same keypad layout and operation as the Samsung that we had to replace. No complaints, although I wish it were rated at 1200 watts instead of 1100.

Nice Microwave style but not good

Warranty only good for 1 year and 8 years on magnetron but not worth the money to ship it back and paying for labor for a new magnetron which as warranty only covers the part only. Really disappointed with this microwave.

Good microwave

I can see the food cooking in the microwave due to the lighter color interior which is definitely a bonus. It also comes with a handle to open the microwave. The ones that come with a button to open the microwave are junk,because the button eventually starts to sticking on you. I haven't found any cons yet. Very satisfied with purchase.

Piece of junk
