Was able to watch season one on cable and found this series about mobsters in Miami in the 50s to be mesmerizing. Great to look at. Terrific acting by some really good actors - both known and fresh faces. Great action and plotting - overtones of The Godfather and Good Fellas and stories of that ilk. Decided to buy the second season on DVD - sight unseen - and binge watch. Sorry to hear that the series was cancelled by its network. Too soon.

This second and final season of Magic City picks up where the first left off. Once again, the designers of the show do a brilliant job recreating 1959 Miami. The acting is excellent and the plot compelling as our hero attempts to keep his hotel from the clutches of the mob - but at what price?

If your a person who likes anything with the mob or organized crime,then this is the series for you. All this guy wants to do is run his hotel but cannot do that without interference. This series ranks right up there with Boardwalk Empire.

I had already watched the first season of Magic City on TV and I loved it. Then I purchased it in your store. I don't know why the series was cancelled from TV. I purchased the second season which I had not the chance to watch on TV and I simply love it. This is a series I can recommend to anybody.

The first season was good and I loved the attention to detail for the time period. I thought it would run for a number of seasons, but I guess not. There is good tension and story arcing for several characters. Some things started to fade a little in season 2, but overall I still thought it was building a good story.

Great story lines for people that live here, and also those that remember early Miami in 1959-1960- gangsters ruled back then and were busy trying to turn Miami Beach into a mini Vegas

I love this show. I actually play a small part in this series as a painter, which was really cool to be a part of. Really wish they would have continued the series.

An old show I was missing this season. It as good as the 1sst season.

I bought the first season before and really enjoyed it,so I had to buy the second season after that. I thought it was great to!

I liked the series shows a lot of nudity violence and family betrayal . I wish it will be long series. Up to 7 or 8 seasons.

I liked this tv series and was sad to hear they will not be doing a season 3. so, i am glad i at least have season 1 and 2.

A second season of "cool". One of the best written and casted series I've ever watched. You never want it to end.

This show is entertaining and very well cast and I recommended it for anyone interested in 1950's-60's America.

We don't watch or have TV service so we catch up on all our favorites watching the DVDs when they come out.

It's an underrated show that left me wanting more. It ended abruptly but wrapped up quite nicely.

The story picked up where the first season left of, following the fictional drama of a Miami hotel owner and the mafia at the end of the 50s.

I like it, I watched the first season and i love it , reason why i bought the season 2

More gangsters, more gals, more intrigue, more of everything we liked in the first season and the beautiful Miami of the 1950s as setting.

Its a shame that this show didn't last longer. Love setting 1960's Miami. Good show!!
