The Magic Keyboard with USB-C is a game-changer for Apple users, combining seamless connectivity, a sleek design, and an ultra-responsive typing experience. With its backlit keys and scissor mechanism, typing feels smooth, precise, and comfortable, whether you’re working late at night or on the go. Its sturdy yet lightweight build makes it perfect for portability, while the multi-touch trackpad enhances navigation, making it an essential companion for iPad productivity. If you’re looking for a premium keyboard that enhances both efficiency and aesthetics, the Magic Keyboard with USB-C is a must-have.

The mini version of this keyboard that came with my iMac was smaller than the keyboard on a 13" MacBook and gave me a pinched nerve. I replaced it with a wired keyboard - not a bad brand but slightly less expensive - but the iMac frequently stopped recognizing it, so I'd have to unplug it and plug it back in. Finally I just ordered this one, and it was worth the expense. You can use it wired or with Bluetooth. No lag, no pinched nerves, no unplugging and replugging - it's worth just shelling out for this one. And the touch ID is a great feature.

Very happy with this keyboard. My dislike with prior Apple keyboard was the white keys. No matter how careful i was, they seemed to always look dirty. Pros for this keyboard are the USB C port which aligns with all my other Apple products and the touch finger login that is perfect when using my Mac in “clam shell” mode (displaying on an external monitor with laptop closed). In addition, the black keys are very attractive with the silver base and compliments my Samsung Smart Monitor which I also purchased from Best Buy.

Love the keyboard. Very sleek and looks great. Nice quality and buttons are smooth to use. Highly recommend. Tried other brands but this is simply better.

This keyboard has everything I need to type on my Mac mini. It's also one of the only ones with touch ID. I wish it was backlit, but it still works great and the battery lasts a long time.

For this for my wife since she works remote. She wanted a sleek keyboard and if possible a fingerprint reader to unlock her Mac. This exceeded her expectations

A classic and very practical keyboard fit for any task. Excellent quality. I use the Touch ID feature all the time. I have a system with a Mac mini and a studio display and it works as if it was designed for it. Well, maybe it was. I recommend this keyboard.

This keyboard is comfortable, responsive, and great for both typing and light gaming. The backlit keys are a nice touch, especially in low light. Build quality feels solid, and setup was effortless. While the software could be better, overall it’s a reliable and stylish choice for everyday use.

This Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and the numeric keypad is a great productivity accessory—especially if you do any work involving numbers, shortcuts, or frequent logins. The key feel is crisp and consistent with good stability, and the full-size layout with the keypad makes data entry and editing work noticeably faster than a compact keyboard.
Touch ID is the standout feature: quick, reliable authentication for logins and approvals without breaking workflow. USB‑C charging is also appreciated—simple cable compatibility and easy to keep topped off.
Ordering through BestBuy.com was fast and straightforward, and delivery/availability was excellent. It shipped quickly and arrived ready to pair and use immediately.

Beautiful Design: The Magic Keyboard has a sleek, minimalist design that complements my Apple devices perfectly. It looks great on my desk and adds a touch of elegance to my workspace.
Excellent Quality: The build quality is outstanding, as expected from Apple. The keyboard feels durable and well-constructed.
Key Travel and Feel: The key travel and tactile feedback are just right. Typing on this keyboard is a pleasure, with just the right amount of click sound

I like the numeric keypad section of the Magic Keypad because I do a lot with numbers, I love the Touch ID, which was new to me, and now I wouldn't want a keyboard without it. A great product.

My company switched to MacBooks, so I bought this keyboard for when I dock the MacBook. It is incredible. The size, weight, key press, and fingerprint reader are all perfect. This is expensive, but worth it.

Worth it for the touch id - I use it in clamshell when I'm home, and to just have everything i need plus a numeric keypad is good. Ergonomics could be better

Keyboard has a nice feel and is easy to type on. Overall, a very solid build however there are serious limitations when you don’t have macOS 15 Sequoia installed. If you are running an older version of macOS say version 14 or lower you will not be able to use the touch ID functionality or the FN keys. I specifically purchased this keyboard to use with my work MacBook M3 Pro. Unfortunately, IT limits the macOS version to 14.7.1 due to security tests and as a result this keyboard is basically worthless as a $180 generic keyboard. Definitely not worth the investment if you don’t have the newest version of macOS for that reason I chose to return it. It is very clear that somebody at Apple HQ realized a compatibility issue with the USB-C versions of the trackpad and the magic keyboard with touch ID and just chose to quietly update the specifications on Apple’s own website without a solution. I can understand not being able to work with Intel chipset Macs but as a general rule and customer experience standpoint, the keyboard should just work out of the box no questions asked.

I love the way the keys feel on this keyboard when typing. It is very smooth and very easy to type! I love the design. Many of the top keys functions don’t work depending on the iOS you use.

This was apart of my new setup that I got from Best Buy and figured if I was going to go ahead and get a new Mini Mac might as well get the whole ecosystem. I am very happy with the way the keyboard works and types, plus I am a sucker in having a numerical key pad and Touch ID. Overall, easy to use and setup and really like how thin it is.

I absolutely love this keyboard. It’s extremely comfortable to type on, even during long work sessions, and the keys feel smooth and responsive. The numeric keypad is very convenient and adds a lot of practicality.
The battery life is excellent — it lasts a long time between charges, which makes daily use hassle-free. Like all Apple products, the build quality is solid and it pairs instantly with my Mac.
Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable, reliable keyboard with great battery life.

Excellent keyboard, and now even better that it uses usb-c and not the old lightning cable. Sort of wish the left control key went all the way to the edge, and had the function key someplace else, but just takes getting used to. Otherwise, fantastic purchase!
