Had Magic Jack for a number of years and always liked it. Recently adopted a rescue cat that accidently broke the module. Bought a new one and was thrilled because it worked better then the old one. I think the firmware on the old one was outdated because a few functions had stopped working earlier. Cat did us a favor....love this product.

Was tired of paying over $44.00 (VOIP with major carrier) a month for landline phone service but wanted to not give up the piece of mine of having a landline. I started researching VOIP services and I landed on MagicJack and thought for the money I could give it a chance. Hook-up and porting over existing landline to MagicJack took about 2 days and we were off and running. This is as good as your internet provider as I run this out of my AT&T router and sometimes between the MagicJack box and the internet connection we will get some noise or fluctuation in the quality but overall, the little nuances only happen occasionally. Call screening is awesome as we are rarely getting any Telemarket calls or ROBO dialing calls. Bought this in April 2022 and by July I signed up for a 5-year promotion that makes my monthly phone bill $3.21 through April 2028. That's over a $40.00 a month savings and that equals real money! Hope this helps others in the future.

The product worked great but I must say it isn't always easy getting in touch with Magic Jack. On another subject. I was very disappointed with my one year tech support. It seems that it was a big waste of money. I asked them to load Windows 10 on one of my computers and they basically told me to do it myself. They also did not help me with my surround sound issue with my television.

Easy to use. Quality is great. Just needs a good internet or data to make use of its best features.

I had magic jack in the past and I needed service in my house to get in contact with my kids so I bought another one caus I did not want to use the old outdated one. Love this magic jack it has really good call quality. But I also paired it with a mesh modem.

You save a few bucks than order from the website. Very easy to install. I port my home number over for a one time $19.99 + admin fee. I also install magicJack app on my iPhone and it works over wifi or phone data so I can pick up a call while not at home. Now that I have a 2nd line on my cell phone and I can text too. The whole deal was about $70 for 1st year bring the cost down to less than $6/mo. I love it so far, will look into longer plan next year.

Only down side if power goes out it won’t work. Other than that save money & works great.

Needed home phone service, this is easy to setup and quality. Includes caller ID and all the other popular services for a low overall fee. All you need is internet and you are set!

I primarily use MagicJack for fax service and for that it's been great. Initial setup was somewhat convolutes and you are going to be charged additional fee if you want incoming and outgoing calls features and this is completely mislead in the set up. I would suggest people to call the support service toll free number to have them go through the setup to avoid paying the additional fee. Also, I discovered that I experience a great deal of downtime though I have yet to formally reach out to my Internet provider or MagicJack but I can say that I have not experienced down periods in streaming my Netflix or Prime series so what does that say. I think 3 star rating is justified only because of that. If I were to spend that time my overall review would likely be lower.

Had my landline number ported to magic jack. Took about a week. Has been working great since. No issues on incoming or outgoing calls. Ability to take calls on mobile app is added bonus.

Got new internet, so I didn’t want to pay big $$$ for home phone… so I gave Magicjack a try. It works great! Ported my number over, which took a few days. Easy to hook up and I bought a phone cord splitter so I could plug directly into my cordless phone system AND into existing home phone wiring… now my home alarm works with the system!

Every Household that has wifi and cellular service should also own this VoIP Device, enabling them to save money substantially on their phone service and bills.

Much cheaper than the landline bundle. No issues after a year of purchase.
