Granddaughters loved movie night with us and of course this was the movie. This picture quality is amazing.

My husband and I saw this when it first was shown in a theater. Action packed film even we adults enjoyed.

Angelina Jolie does a wonderful job in portraying Malificent. The movie has some amazing special effects

I’m not a huge steelbook collector, but this one looks great. Definitely a keeper for my 4k collection!

First, this move does not follow the established sleeping beauty cannon. If you're not ok with that, stop here and go buy something else. If you can think it took place in parallel universe, or whatever else it takes, then you are good. The story focuses on the titular character of Maleficent as played by Angelina Jolie. It follows some back story that I'm not going to ruin that leaves Maleficent as we are used to her in the traditional stories, which is to say angry, powerful, and looking to make people have a bad day. She curses Aurora as you are familiar with in the Sleeping Beauty story line, and then things get interesting. I'll not spoil the movie, but I will say it has sufficient action, romance, really cool scenery and special effects, and plot turns to make this an interesting movie for a wide variety of viewers. I would be hesitant to expose this to very young children as this is much more real looking than the Disney classic. Other than that enjoy the film. (an aside, this packaging of the film is really a deal as it offers 2 disks so you can give one to somebody with a blu-ray if you don't have a player for that, or give the DVD away if you do. Otherwise, it is great for building a collection that will survive the transition if the future goes all blu-ray eventually.)

Watched this movie once and we really enjoyed it. It went on sale so we just had to add it to our collection.

Great family movie. Not for small children but older children can handle the darker issues in the movie.

Honestly, I'm not crazy about the front artwork, but I do love the back. I thought a little bit of more thought could've gone into it. Maybe I'll ask @printflips to make a non-lenticular magnet for me.

The beautiful colors and landscapes really pop in 4K! So glad they chose this movie for Ultra HD!

I love steel books because they have much more detail than regular movies and excellent quality.

Saw this movie way back when it came out and wanted to see it again before the sequel came out.

Shows maleficent's side of the original story line and where her hatred of the king comes from.

I like how Disney shook things up and retold the story from the villain's perspective. I remembered how much I liked this after seeing the sequel. It's a fun movie, but more for older kids.

Excellent movie with good character development. Steelbook looks great with similar titles.
