Everyone is already aware of this, but I'll say it anyway. You've got to be careful when downloading off the Internet. If you're not vigilant, you will, sooner or later, get something on your computer that you don't want. This happened to me twice recently, when my computer was infected by browser hijackers (Snap-Do, Trovi). I don't remember the circumstances of the first incident, but the second one occurred when I downloaded GIMP from a website other than the official GIMP website. I'm not sure how big a threat they actually were and they did not prevent me from getting to websites I wanted, but I could not use Firefox or Google Chrome. And who knows what they were doing behind the scenes. At the very least, they were intrusive and I wanted them gone. But they could not be uninstalled. While casting about for a solution, I came across Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. The ITS department at my place of work has installed this software on all of our office computers, so I figured it had to be pretty reputable. I downloaded the free trial version and ran a full scan of my computer. It took over an hour, but by the end of the scan, it had found nearly 1200 malicious objects on my computer. A few mouse clicks, and these malicious items were history. I had Firefox and Google Chrome back! I was so impressed that, when I stumbled upon a copy of the software at Best Buy, I snapped it up and installed it on all my machines. Definitely one of the best software purchases I have ever made. I run quick scans every so often even when things are running smoothly, just to be safe. Now that support for Windows XP has ended, I expect this software will be even more valuable. Again, a superior product!

I bought this program because I've random messages pop up about malware in my system by Norton System works. However Norton doesn't make it easy to get rid of it. After finding this program and seeing Cnet's positive rating I bought it and found a lot of malware Norton didn't see. It's easy to use, but I wish it didn't take so long to scan files and I don't even have close to a TB of data on my hard drive. Just a warning to those who do.

I will definitely recommend this product to anyone who is being attacked by spyware. It was very easy to use.

I was having so many problems with my main computer. I would try to do my online assignments and the computer would stall me or bring up so many pop ups that I could not get anything done. I couldn't print out any of my assignments or my research information due to the multitude of pop ups! After the installation of this program, it is like I'm working on a new computer. It is faster and does what it is told without any backtalk!!!! :) Wonderful!

Easy to install but keeps reminding you to update.

I sent question to online support and did not hear back for 3 days and then I re-sent my request. Technician walked me through many options to rid a set of unwanted pop-ups. Each day I was on line to take care of one of the options offered. By morning I would have another task but overall I am up and running!

I discovered Anti-Malware quite accidently. After being plagued by viruses and malwares I complained to the technician one day and asked for help. He scratched his head and said, "You should buy and install anti-malware on all your computers." At first I was skeptical, but now I know it is a must for all computers. There are too many kooks out there who are ruining people's lives.

I recommend this product. Double the protection. If you already have installed a virus protection software and for some reason it did not catch a virus attack the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium software will give you that extra protection and it will make sure to that the virus is quarantined or removed from your PC. I highly recommend this product.

This software is so easy to install. Ever since a tech used this product, but the professional version, I have downloaded the consumer version. When I saw how effective it catches Malware, I purchased the better version. Totally awesome to see what all it catches.

It's a good product. After installing it, has caught some tracking cookies and deleted them from the computer.

Found malware the got by the antivirus software . Performed as advertised .

I ended up acquiring a malware/rootkit when I downloaded a video onto my computer from a site that I thought was safe (plus I had Norton 360 running at the time). Turns out that the video download also included a malware/rootkit that installed a program in which every page I tried to go to while on the internet would be overrun by pop-up messages telling me that I needed to update my video player. Norton 360 did not remove it, and I could not remove it myself by resetting the computer to an earlier saved time, and I could not remove it off my register. After reading up on various methods to remove the rootkit, I ended up purchasing this product and installed it on my computer. Within minutes, all the malware had been removed, and my computer was operating fine. I have nothing but good things to say about this product!

Malware bytes is really good at removing spyware and those pesky threats that slow down your computer

Since I cannot scan when I want, I don't know if it is working or not. When I had Malware/Anti-Malware before I could use it and scan with no problems, along with a separate scan using AVG 2013. I now have AVG 2014 along with this product and don't know if both do automatic scans or not,

I bought this product to help with pop up advertisements that were all over my internet program. It has taken all of these away-what a relief. My only problem with the software is that it will say the software is out of date every day when I just uploaded it less than a month ago. It gives me no ability to fix this problem. I can x out the small screen but it is a little aggravating.

I was having problems with my computer, and wasn't sure it was protected. This is great to add this to your antivirus so you have double the protection.

Have website was having a lot of adware and malware pop-ups. Put this in it identified all the issues fixed them deleted all the popups keeps on doing it s job. Reasonably priced. Will purchase again if needed

I was having trouble with my programs on my computer. The clerk in the store told me about this product and told me he had very good reviews told to him. I tried it and believe me it was an excellent product. It has served me well.

Initially, only one episode of malware was detected during a scan. The last two scans, almost 200 episodes of malware were detected, although no more than two names were found.
