Love the Superman series and love the movie Man of Steel. I got this movie on 4K mainly for the Dolby Atmos sound effects and it will not disappoint you...especially the fight scenes...simply superb. Like the movie and the cast especially Henry Cavill. I have previously watched his Witcher series on Netflix and liked it a lot. I particularly like this item as it comes with both Blu-Ray and 4K discs. We like to watch these movies every now and then on our projector with Dolby Atmos sound system to get a good kick out of them.

They had the perfect Superman and would rather chase trends instead of doing their own thing. Best Buy should talk to WB to rerelease the steelbook since James Gunn's version is bound to flop. Recommended to show them people want Henry Cavill

Man of Steel is one of the greatest comic book movies ever made. Written by Goyer, produced by Nolan and directed by Snyder, this is the holy trinity of quality. The 4k is a marginal improvement on the blu ray with stronger colors and finer detail. Well worth the $9.99 purchase!

This was really good.. and had some awesome action scenes. Picture quality was fantastic! Real good story on how he became Superman.

Man of Steel and Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition are the best superhero movies of all time. Story is amazing with a phenomenal soundtrack. Now in 4k it definitely looks good. Definitely recommend these two movies to any who has real good taste in high quality movies. Ohh and it came with a holo sleeve which was the cherry on top for me.

This 4k of man of steele looked alive and bright less grain than the bluray. Superb.

I seen this movie and those made from the early 60's and the writers did a fantastic job

Like To Buy movies at BEST BUY has everything i need

Like most fans, I was looking forward to seeing this one, but I may have set the bar a little too high. Yes, it is great to see Superman on screen, but the need for a villain who is someone who should make the viewer feel he is a threat and a final battle that is not reliant on spectacle over story end up hurting this effort in the end. If you are a hardcore Superman fan and want to add it to your collection, it won't be the worst one in you library....but it will leave you feeling like you just had a meal full of empty calories. The extras and behind the scenes docs make this a good investment for those who are film buffs who might enjoy the "hows" a little more than the film itself. We shall see if they can work out the bugs from this story in the next planned big screen outing.

I won't go into long detail, but I LOVE this movie. I think it was a fantastic reimagining to the Superman mythos and a great start to the DC Universe. I loved the grounded approach and the portrayals of the Kryptonian society. I don't know...I don't have many complaints about the film. I felt like it was ahead of it's time. Now, for the presentation on disc, I must say the what makes this disc pop is the HDR. I didn't think I would see a difference, but watching the Blu-ray and then the 4K, you see it. I was never one to complain about the desaturation of the film before, but now this should make folks a little happy on that front. For the price, this is recommended.

Supes. He's the real hero. An American Icon with real powers and underwear he doesn't change and wears over his pants. If I did that on a daily basis, I'd be arrested or thrown into Arkham. The best aspect of the movie, is the philosophical quarry that our titular hero finds himself in. He has two fathers. Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe. They each preach the opposite thing. Costner's like, yo son -- don't show the world what you're really capable of because they'll fear you -- whereas Maximus is like, Kid wear the underwear. Show your strength and fly to get hiiiiiiiiiiigh. What to do? The choices are rough -- so if you are hip with it, you'll turn into the drama of what makes this man steel and not super. I'm Ron's burgundy?

---This review pertains to the 4K HDR Version--- This is one of my favorite super hero movies. It is directed by Zach Synder and people either love or hate his movies. If you loved his take on the Watchmen (which I highly recommend), then you will likely love this movie as well. I can go on and on about what a great movie this is, but will leave that to the viewer to decide for themselves. Instead, I will focus on the audio and UHD video quality. This is the best this movie has looked, and the 4K upgrade is ore than worth the price. I can't emphasize how nice it looks. The HDR really pops, especially in the opening Krypton scenes. After you get this do yourself a favor and get the 4K UHD version of the Batman V Superman sequel. You likewise won't be disappointed!

Too many fans nowadays just can't be pleased, no matter what you do with a film. Man of Steel is a wonderful new take on Superman, placing him square in our contemporary world without the campy, ridiculous antics of the previous iterations. I thought this was a Superman that I could believe and get behind. To the 'my way or the highway' movie goers who can never be pleased, I say, lighten up and just allow yourselves to be entertained. This is a great movie...

Great movie I really enjoyed it. This is probably the first Superman movie I truly liked. Great storyline. I thought the actor who played Superman did a very good job. I'm a big fan of Russell Crowe. You did an awesome job playing Superman's father. I would highly recommend this movie. And I'm getting kind of tired of this superhero Marvel movies but I can watch this one over and over again.

I absolutely love this film regardless of it's bad reception. It's one of the absolute best Superman films there is in my opinion. Strange the man of steel didn't get a steelbook release.

This is a replacement for my first copy that was freezing during playback. return was easy. Glad I got another copy. Great movie. Sound is great on a home theatre

Great movie!! Even if the DC universe is getting reset this movie is a must own. Movie does a good job giving supermans origin/ setting up vilian.
