Customers are saying

Customers regard the 60" Tripod favorably for its ease of use, lightweight design, compact size, and affordable price. Many appreciate its quick release feature and portability, making it ideal for travel. However, some users express concerns about stability, particularly when fully extended, and find the ball head's performance and panning capabilities less than ideal. Improvements to the tripod's sturdiness and the smoothness of its panning mechanism are suggested by some users.

I tried a lower cost one the first time around, and it fell apart about 10days after. Then I decided to upgrade. I have fallen in love with this new one. It has a number of features that have made panning in vids much easier

For the price this is a great tripod. Really enjoy the ease of camera movement when attached to tripod. Quick release allows you to quickly remove camera and not have to unscrew or rescrew any mounting hardware.

This thing can go tall or stay small. Every leg is independently adjustable so taking pics on uneven surfaces is great. That came in handy while we were out in the canyons of Nevada and Arizona. It's also very lightweight yet feels durable!

Great tripod. Very easy to change the angle of the lens. It also has a very useful option to move only horizontally for best video. I really like that it's tall enough to take more flattering pictures.

I recently was in need of a new tripod when mine broke during a photoshoot in Charleston SC. I saw several good reviews for this tripod online. Some mixed, a few negative. But I figured I'd give the manfrotto a try. I was beyond pleased. This tripod is light enough to carry cross body 5 miles of rough and strenuous trails to waterfalls and mountains vistas. I set it up and took some amazing photos. The controls are Amazing and allow for fluid motion and seem less movement. I was able to take video with little to no camera shake. I especially love the camera setting or video setting. I wish I could add a video to this review to show how amazing it really is. But I give this tripod a huge A+++

I bought this tripod as a light weight portable tripod. I have several large commercial type tripods and needed something to take on a trip to Trinidad and Tobago for mounting a mirrorless camera for photos and videos. It worked very well for that purpose. I did use it a few times with a Canon DSLR with a battery grip and a 100-400mm lens which is way over the weight limit and it worked but would not recommend purchasing for that particular use. Have also used it with my video camera and it was fine.

This tripod was pretty good, light weight, easy to set up and manuever. My issue was with the stability of the legs with the telephoto lens. Not stable in wind. There is a hook to hang wt., but I think I'll wait and spend a bit more $ for a higher wt load. This would be great for hiking with a point and shoot. or 50 mm lens. If the legs were a bit more formidable I would have kept it, I may go the next one up, or 2 steps up for wt limits.

I have another cheaper tripod that has a hand crank for the top piece that takes time to connect. I saw this on an open-box discount and started looking at the features. It has a quick release for the camera, the top pole can quickly move up and down with a simple turn of a dial, etc. all the adjustable piece of this are designed to be quickly adjusted to anything you like. I was able to set this up and connect a video camera in under a minute. And it has a carry bag. it's one of my best camera related purchases.

I like the quick release catch and the roll ball adjustment but overall the stand is too flimsy the legs if extended fully are really thin and therefore I have to lower the stand to allow for stability.its ok for 60 bucks but there are better stands out there that you don't pay for the name. Higher end I am sure Manfrotto are great but it's budget model doesn't cut it. It will do for inside jobs but not outside in case of wind or knocking over. Either pay more or look at the after market models.

This tripod has been a great addition to capture both photos and videos. Easy to use and operate for this beginner. I especially appreciate the ease of moving the platform, attaching/detaching my cameras, ease of extending/collapsing the legs, and portability. I don't have other tripods to compare this experience with. But it's been a pleasure to use for this novice. And hoping it will be durable to last several years.
