Customers are saying

Customers regard the 60" Tripod favorably for its ease of use, lightweight design, compact size, and affordable price. Many appreciate its quick release feature and portability, making it ideal for travel. However, some users express concerns about stability, particularly when fully extended, and find the ball head's performance and panning capabilities less than ideal. Improvements to the tripod's sturdiness and the smoothness of its panning mechanism are suggested by some users.

The tripod is light weight, easy to set-up & adjust. I needed something to use in my studio to take snapshots of my art and this fit the bill.

I bought this before a trip to Norway and it was perfect. It was the smallest tripod I could find that wasnt super expensive. It had no problem with my dslr. It was also very easy to carry around whether with the supplied bag or strapped to my backpack.

I was hesitant on getting this tripod due to the price. An employee saw me standing there looking at the different kinds of tripods and he asked what kind of camera I had. When I told him he suggested this model since I had a newer, heavier camera. He told me all about it and explained to me how to work it. After that he had me sold. The tripod comes with a carrying case and it's compact, lightweight, and sturdy for what I need. I recommend this tripod!

I tried the tripod with 3 different lenses. The first 2 worked, but the 3rd, a 300mm could not be tightened enough to keep from sagging. The legs of the tripod were easy to extend but a bit wobbly. The pistol grip was nice unless you shot through the lense. Then the grip was against my face. Uncomfortable and hard to frame the picture. For lighter cameras and point and shoots, I would think this tripod would work well.

We recently purchased this for a family trip, and are quite pleased with its value and usability. My wife is a portrait photographer and she enjoys how easy it is to set up for a quick shot. I'm a landscape photographer, and I appreciate the quick-release extension legs and the flexibility for finding level. (I do wish it had a bubble level built into the handle like some other models). The mount for the camera is small and no problem to just leave on the camera. We've had ours on for 2 months and haven't noticed any problem setting the camera down. It's a light-weight tripod, but surprisingly sturdy. When the very smallest segment of the legs is extended it can be shaken by light gusts of wind. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase because Manfrotto has balanced easy of use with functionality.

I really like this tripod because I'm not a big person and do not like having to carry big bulky heavy items if I don't have to do so. This tripod is just enough to keep handy in my car and toss into a backpack for those spontaneous day trips. Okay, the downside is that it does have a little trouble supporting my camera body and long lens.

Like most Manfrotto products I've used this is a quality built, easy to use wonder! I got this for a trip to Italy I was going to be shooting in and outdoors with my GoPro hero black 5 on a gimbal and wanted to be able to set it up with a set field of vie and record whatever was happening. It takes literally seconds to set up! Folds up small enough to fit into the outside pocket of my GoPro backpack yet is as tall as a standard sized tripod! The legs are skinny but sturdy. I was able to close the legs while they were extended and move around with ease just like a monopod but then open the game back up for tripod use! The tension wheel for all adjustments with the head allows the handle to be much smaller than the standard handle but no less effective! I also use this with a mevo camera at our martial arts school and it works great!
