Very easy to setup. Sound is great. I replaced a Pioneer and am so happy I did. Highly recommended

The ability to "hear" everything now with these speakers and not blow out the neighbors in my apartment is great! The Marantz which was bought for another home is unbelievable!

Excellent receiver if your speakers are (HES) High Efficient Speakers like Klipsch or Polks. Not so good with Martin Logan's.. (90db's or greater). Replaced a SONY ES model.. Less power than the ES. 100wps - (Marantz) vs 125wpc - (ES). The Marantz sounds cleaner and has more punch especially with the center channel.. Too bad BB does not sell the Gold Face model which i think is only available in Europe..

Set up time reasonable. Connected to Internet first try. Sounds great. Marantz iOS app just ok but what do you really need? Can turn it on and off, select source and adjust volume. Great for 2nd room. Use supplied remote for main room. Compared it to sister Denon product. Denon brighter. Marantz smoother. Like jazz so went with Marantz. No regrets.

So my Sony receiver blew up and I wanted a quality receiver and this is what I went home with. Good thing because I immediately noticed that the sound was way better (clear and crisp) than with the Sony. Even my wife noticed and she doesn't really care about that kind of thing.

The Marantz - 1400W A/V Home Theater Receiver provides everything I need. I have multiple devices going through it to my 4K TV, and a 7.1 surround sound system. Picture and sound are excellent! And, only one HDMI cable going to my TV. Exactly what I needed!

Still learning more about the receiver but so far so good ... Really enjoy it's functionality ... Could use a better manual and easier instructions. But product is very good

This is the best surround sound receiver i have ever had. I have a Sony, Pioneer and Yamaha receiver, but the sound quality exceeds the others. Simple operations, great fidelity. I would recommend to anyone looking for quality sound spending under a thousand.

This receiver was recommended over the pioneer elite by the magnolia tech. He asked me lots of questions about my intended use, room setup and future needs and I'm very happy I chose this. Most used for movies but sounds great for music too

The marantz is a great receiver. It is so easy to use with apple airplay.

This is one of my best purchases so far from best buy. Love the sound hearing things in music and movies that I've never heard before. Really enjoying this receiver. Looking forward to really opening it up so it can blow my ears back!

Sounds great easy listening easy controls easy hook up and iinstalation

Just over three years ago I purchased a Denon 3313 receiver which was one of the higher end ones at the time. It died on me out of nowhere, no audio or picture. After trouble shooting I was able to pin point it to the receiver. Unfortunately I was unable to spend as much money on a receiver at this time as I was in the past so I went with sr5010 by Marantz and I'm very glad I did. For me the audio sounds much better (smoother) than the Denon did. The bass was much tighter in movies and everything just sounded better tuned and much warmer. I'm no audiofile but am so happy I decided to go with this receiver, just wish I would've had more money at the time to get one of the higher end model Marantz's. If this is in your price range DO NOT HESITATE!!

Briefly I just wanted to say This reciever is amazing the sound it conveys is truly an art my hometheater sounds and shakes like a true theater and I am very particular when it comes about the sound

Love my Martantz 7.2 receiver! Comes with a micro phone to calibrate speakers to the proper range instead of spend hours doing it your self. Crystal clear sound just what every home theater needs!

If you want 4k capabilities, ease of set up and very good sound, this is a great receiver for the price. Just waiting to set up the dolby atmos front speakers to complete the system.

This is my first Marantz product. I have read reviews about the product, and once i purchased it and set it up, i was amazed. Very good receiver. Will recommend it to anyone.
