Moved up from an older Kenwood AV unit. Really no comparison. The SR5011 has the latest technology and famous Martantz Hi-Fi sound. Awesome power. I never need to turn it up past 70! Complimented with Martin Logan Motion 8 center, Motion 40 Fronts & Motion 4 surrounds. Wow!

Loving the Marantz brand. Pairs well with a pair of B&W speakers. Very sturdy and good size and heft to it. Build quality is great and lots of features. Set it up for 2.0 stereo, but looking to get into surround in the future maybe. Very easy setup, no complaints so far.

The Marantz receiver is everything you need for music, tv, and watching movies. It's Wifi and Bluetooth ready. Great product

Amazing sound quality, I highly recommend this AVR.

This includes comments about a system purchase that the Marantz – 1400w was part of. I don’t think either the sales person who came into my home to spec out the system or the installing technician were true audiophiles. Neither knew that the speakers were beyond the manufactures separation maximum and when I ask where the tuning baffles were they had to pull them out of the trash. The sub-woofer was installed in the entertainment center, where I requested, and is not correct place for it. It had to be put in sideways and there is only inches for clearance in the enclosure. Deep base is a rumble and ultra-low guitar frequencies sound like a drum. If I had known this I would not have requested this location for the sub-woofer. I expected the ‘sound’ and equipment experts to guide me. Per my request again the receiver was setup inside the entertainment center and will have to be moved to an open, no doors, bay so I can see the display for sound levels and sound mode. The Harmony Elite does not display unit information, I did not know this. The Harmony Elite was set up so the remote became a controller on startup of the Wii U. This takes a controller spot and the remote is not a proper device for games. I disabled it. For a 6k system price tag I expected a lot more performance after installation by Best Buy. Given time and my own personal adjustments/equipment relocation/fine tuning I am certain I’ll have the system I envisioned.

I researched receivers for several months before deciding on the Marantz sr 5011. I listened to several in the store and this one actually sounded better to me than pricier models. I love the features like being able to stream music from my phone, etc... So far super happy with this purchase and hope it lasts a lifetime.

Upgraded to this receiver for its WIFI and Bluetooth capabilities, and they work well. Sound is great, as with all Marantz products. No real downside to this unit after 2 months of use. If you see a SR5010 for substantially less buy that. The only difference is that the 5011 works with 5GHZ wifi.

We are kind of old school and love great speakers and needed a new receiver. This one has all of the bells and whistles, is easy to operate and lends itself to giving our speakers great power and sound.

I'm very pleased with the receiver. Easy set up with many available customizations. AVR has great clean Marantz classic sound. For the price wish it included Denon's Heos wireless music platform. Love the AVR.

This thing is amazing. The sound is fantastic and it was so easy to set up. Does everything so much better than my old Denon. Just goes to show every 6 years or so we need to update our stuff.

Upgraded our 4yr old Denon to this beast. Sounds great and lots of features, sure I'm still not using at its full potential.

Not the most intuitive setup and the "port hole" style display that Marantz is famous for, while aesthetically interesting, can be somewhat difficult to read. But the sound it produces is high quality and the remote is fairly easing to use (which my wife likes).

The sound is really good, enough power/watts for my speakers and good for at least 10 years as far as all the features and enough watts to power more high power speakers incase I want to upgrade in the future.

I bought this for my home theater in my basement. It runs cool and puts out incredible sound. The set up was very easy and straight. The one knock is the app interface isn’t great.

Classical recordings are crystal clear with no blending of sounds. Ease of operation is superb.

Set up was a breeze with the Mic system has plenty of inputs and the ARC output allows all the sources to come through one input. So far the power seems to be good will definitely buy new speakers. Haven't hooked up to any wifi for updates cause of the issues the techs said could arise not sure how I feel about that. I will hook up to wifi and do and update before my geek squad protection expires because the techs said that's the only way if something goes wrong that the issue will be covered. Marantz wont cover what appears to be a software problem. You would think for the price you pay that shouldn't be a problem.

This unit was very easy to set up. Had it going in less that 30 minutes. Great sound and beautiful picture quality. This is a great addition to my home theater set up.

I am, by no means, an audio technician, but I found the set up to be easy. I like the features, and it sounds great.

We purchased this model over the Integra DRX-4 based upon a local AV specialist's advice. He was concerned about HDMI board failure in the Integra and was also convinced that the Marantz had a better sound when listening to our CD player on "direct" and using our own outside amplifier and speakers. The receiver was very easy to set up. The remote is classy in appearance and very friendly to use. Everything sounds great, and the receiver integrates flawlessly with our new 4K OLED TV. Very happy with the purchase and also happy the item was in stock in town and we were able to find it right away.

The features are great and I like the price. The sound reproduction is great and I like the features that it has.
