This receiver does everything that i need it to do. It is great for an average person wanting decent sound quality. I do feel that the option menu needs to be faster when navigating in and around it.

great receiver and quality. excellent sound w/clear and crisp dialogue. ample power for each channel. cant go wrong with this receiver unless you upgrade to the SR7011 model!!

This is my second Marantz receiver and I like it. I bought it because I like the warm sound of Marantz and the 7.1 analog audio inputs I need for my SACD player. I like the flexibility of the input assignments and the audio setup was easy. I cannot get the front analog audio jacks to work though and may have to do a full system reset to get it to work. The iOS app is OK, but doesn't work very consistently, but that is just a throw in toy for me.

This is the best receiver we have purchased. This is our 3rd receiver in 6 years as the other two only lasted a few years each which is not long enough for the money we paid. This receiver for the price has better sound and crispness than our prior receivers. Plus, the manufacturer's warranty is great.

This product is fantastic! Yes, it is expensive. But, if you are looking for a high quality, 4K receiver to enhance your home theater system, I highly recommend this. No, it is not the top of the line model. But it is solid. It has a lot of inputs and they are all compliant with the latest (2016) 4K HDMI specs. Pick up this receiver and enjoy what it can do!

This receiver lets you use 7.2 surround by assigning the 6th and 7th speaker terminals to one of the following: Front Heights, Top Fronts, Top Middles, Front Dolby, Surround Dolby, 2 Surround Backs (in addition to using 2 Rear Surrounds), 2 Speakers for a separate zone, Bi-Amped Fronts, or Front A's with Front B's. I am pleased with this receiver for music and home theater.

This receiver works seamlessly with my new 4K UHD home theatre--the UHD TV, DVD player, my existing audio CD player and my new turntable to play my retro vinyl. It totally works will with my Dolby 7.1 audio amplifiers and speakers.

Extremely pleased with this receiver. Powers my surround system in my great room (Zone 1) and the speakers out on my lanai by the pool (Zone 2). My old receiver volume oscillated out on the lanai by the pool--this one does not. Solid power, and I really like the multiple types of media it controls. I bought this receiver to replace an old Rotel. Setup was very simple and Marantz has a 800 number for any technical questions. Sound quality is excellent for the price. Plenty of features like, Internet radio and 2 zone operation. It does run warm, you can help that by giving it room to breath and by using Eco mode. Have had this unit for almost a month now and I would say overall it is a good receiver for the price!

When i first started shopping for an AV receiver I didn't even look at Marantz. After comparing all the receivers in the theater room it was a very easy choice to make. Marantz sounded amazing hands down to all of the other units.

The receiver has served my setup very well. It is not lacking for power or configuration capabilities. It has needed (and been provided) updates more frequently than I had anticipated. I will say that it’s not completely unexpected in this quickly changing climate of tech

This a significant upgrade from my pioneer receiver that started to give me problems. The sound quality and performance is far superior to the pioneer! I would recommend to anyone looking for a 4K receiver with Dolby Atmos!
