I tried two other receivers prior to purchasing this one, the first two simply could not get the job done... This receiver pumps sound out of every speaker with intensity and makes my 7.1.2 setup sound amazing!

I was going to purchase a lower end receiver but after doing a side by side comparison of this receiver with three others in the Magnolia show room, I was convinced I had purchased the right unit for our surround system. Great product and well worth the additional investment.

My wife and I purchased a new 78" 4K Samsung TV from Best Buy and after hanging it and getting it all setup, I realized my old receiver wasn't going to make the grade. I went to Magnolia inside Best Buy with the intention of buying the same brand receiver I have always used. After talking to a salesman about my best options he suggested the Marantz SR5011 and I sure am glad I listened to him. Setup was a breeze and it makes my in ceiling speakers sound better than ever. The wifi hook up and online music choices are great, the Marantz 2016 app makes it easy to control from my iPhone and iPad too. Finally, the 4K it puts out with Netflix looks amazing on my new TV also. It will be hard for me to not continue using Marantz, I'm sold!!!

I was going to originally get the Marantz NR1506, but I thought it sounded a little too bright with the Martin Logan motion 15 speakers. By switching to the Marantz SR5011, the sound is smooth and effortless.

This system was easy to set up and was as advertised. It handles the 4K aspects of the tv with no difficulty. maybe a little overkill for my useage in my home. The two zones will be nice in the summer, being able to play music outside while the TV can still be used inside.

All I want is to make my receiver and tv compatible but I got more than that! The sound quality is far more superior than my previous one despite the fact that I only bought the lowest model of the series, and maybe next time I will buy the mid range model.

Marantz & Denon are my two go-to brands for receivers. Over the past 10-15 years I cannot tell the difference between these brands. They seem exactly the same. Remote, layout, menu, audysey, controls, sound, video, etc.. are all the same. Some say Marantz has better internal parts & sounds better then Denon... I own both brands and can't tell the difference in sound or video. To me both these brands are identical. I also just bought the Samsung 8500 4K tv & Samsung UHD 4K blu-ray player. The only reason I bought this receiver is for the 4K & HDR. I'm having some hdmi glitches when I play blu-rays. While in "set-up" the screen will go black and certain info won't be displayed while playing blu-rays only.. Everything works fine if watching cable. I thought maybe a firmware upgrade would solve this problem but it did not. My four year old Denon 3313ci which is almost the same receiver (minus the 4K) does not have these glitches with my new Samsung 4K. For the price this could of had a few more options & maybe a little more power. Other than that I'm happy w/the sound & picture.

This receiver completely transformed my sound system into the beast that it is now! I upgraded from an old cheap Yamaha and I couldnt be happier with it. The sound is very warm and using the audyssey mic perfectly eq'ed my speakers. Highly recommend.

I am AAA+++ happy with the marantz AVR- SR-5011...it was brand new on the market when purchased and now have used about a month...some days for 10-12 hours and no problems yet. a great product

An excellent product, very easy to set up. A very intelligent receiver that communicates well with other components with high quality audio output.

Love how this receiver works and the setup was very easy. The auto configuration of the speakers with the mike and tripod set up the speakers perfectly. I also love the ease in changing music from my iPhone to Pandora to Sirius. IT has been great

I recommend this product for anyone who has a 4K TV and wants to improve the sound for their listening enjoyment. ! I loveLove the quality and when we watch movies it sounds awesome!

Upgraded from an aging Harmon Kardon 160 and was very concerned about the sound quality. Passed the Pink Floyd test at high volume! A great upgrade to push my Bose 301 theater system!

This unit relplaced our previous maranta receiver that was 10 yrs old. So far it is everything it is advertised to be and we are happy

Very happy with Receiver. It works well with my Martin Logan LTD floor speakers. Sounds are enhanced so we're able to hear the trebles and bass tones clearly.

This receiver is AMAZINGGGG! Best sound quality along with my Definitive Technology speakers! Wow! Marantz is my go-to from now on!! So happy with this 1.

It’s the brains of my home entertainment setup and has been working great. Music sounds great and connects well with home network.

Simple and beautiful. Great addition to a home theater system. Clean looking with few buttons and offers great sound.

I only have 5 speakers so far so we haven't fully been able to test this system yet, but so far so good. We bought it for the atmos feature but like I said we don't have all the speakers yet.

I wanted to upgrade my receiver when I got a new 65-inch t.v. This is a great unit with high quality sound.
