This Marantz receiver was perfect for my small home theater. Beautiful 4K presentation on my TV. It's especially great for audiofiles like myself. My 5.1 DVD-Audio and SACD's sound incredible!

I have had my eye on this receiver for a while and when I saw it on sale I had to get it. Don't be affraid of the 50w per channeI. I have a 5.1 system with bookshelfs for the front R/L and it sounds fantastic. It does not have some of the more advanced sound processing (Atmos, DTS X) but I don't know how many people really need those. I also love the Spotify feature. With the Spotify app on my iPad I can control what I want to listen to and it sounds great. Finally, get the Marantz app. It has been poorly reviewed, but I have had no problems with it and it makes making adjustments to the sound really easy.

Works great and the sound is amazing. Easy setup with no hassle. Smooth operation with NO audio delay. Works great with my 4K TV! Seriously could not be happier

Like I said... Worth every penny. For some reason it rang up on clearance at $399 instead of $499, which was the price advertised both online and in store so that was an unexpected but awesome surprise. Absolute bargain at that price. Might be tough to find a store that still has them in stock but if you do find one, don't hesitate. And don't worry about the wattage. Plenty of power driving 2 B&W 686 S2's and a HTM62 S2 center channel. Combined with a ASW650 12" 200W sub, this guy can shake the house. Slim profile so it fits wherever.... Overall awesome receiver.

Easy to use and delivers a great sound! I have been using for almost three years and so far no issues.

I was looking for a receiver that would allow me to play games. PC, Switch, PS4 Pro. But, most importantly play in 4K with HDR. I can confirm this is possible. As well as watching 3D Movies. I haven't gotten 3D vision to work with my tv (LG OLED 55C6P) but I haven't put much effort in looking for fixes. My only issue with the receiver is the interface looks old and dated. Like 2003-2005. It's very ugly. But, something I can live with.

Set-up was easy and the sound was equal to my previous $900.00 Yamaha receiver. It also takes up less room.

Marantz continues to impress! Amazing features and input selection (hdcp 2.2 compliant) all in a thin profile! This is everything I've been wanting and the power is strong enough for a medium size living room (18x14). You won't regret this purchase.

I have a one year old Marantz at 4 times the price and I can't figure out why I purchased that one, when this one does the same job for /14 the price. Highly recommend this unit for a great warm sound.

Had both Denon and Yamaha, and was looking for a replacement. Researched and found this mid priced Marantz. Has all bells whistles and great sound. Matched with Polk speakers. Nice system.

Absolutely would recommend this to anybody. This thing is truly amazing and the best part is the size. It fits in most entertainment compartments like a DVD play vs. the bigger systems.

I have owned every brand of receiver and Marantz is by far the best. I also have an NR5010 for the media room. The smaller footprint is fantastic for my bedroom and power is still there!

Finally got rid of sound bar and installed REAL surround sound. Sooooo much better! Plus accepts everything, iPod, phone, cable, blu ray, apple tv, sirius xm, music, movies, pictures, etc.

it offered excellent sound along with much needed bluetooth, wifi, ARC

I'm really happy with this item. I didn't realize that this device supports DSD64 files when I buy it. Was surprised to find out it from manual. Good sound quality for that money.
