Apparently, this is a known issue where the audio cuts in and out. I’ve tried multiple HDMI cords and the same issue remains. Putting the TV’s HDMI setting on PCM eases the issue, but this is not an issue I’d expect from this expensive of a receiver. I hope the software is updated and possibly will wade in time.

Posted .There's big step up in power when you upgrade to the SR5 (SR5015) Series. The NR receivers are designed for smaller applications and the wattage output can be limiting in a large room.

So why go there. I have larger B&W speakers (5.1) and there no is hint of low power envy. I haven’t found any audio application not available on this beautiful little slim line unit. Super happy✌️

Input Failed After 2 Weeks

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Cbl/Sat HDMI labeled input is causing repeated resets of the TV and TIVO, several within 10 seconds. Plugging the TIVO into any of the other HDMI inputs does not cause any problems. Plugging back into the Cbl/Sat repeats the problem. Maybe the thin units aren't well made. Probably going for a bigger power unit if I get my money back for this piece. Also, no screen saver if I use the Tuner and must use the TV to tune. Due to the multiunit feature (ARC, I think) turning off the TV turns off everything else. Sure do miss the front displays.
