Great Receiver for Complex Set-ups
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This receiver needed to connect to "old school" components as well as state-of-the-art components and to distribute audio to 2 different areas. Set-up took a little longer than hoped, but ultimately successful. This Marantz is replacing one that lasted over 10 years with nearly daily use for 10-12 hours each day. Hopefully, this one lasts at least as long.

Great Receiver for any room

I was able to set it up easily, upgrade the firmware using the menu. The App, is very user friendly . I am using an external Marantz amplifier, but even without the amplifier, the receiver does a decent job , has all the latest technologies . Glad I purchased it.

A great receiver

It seemed that they was breaking down every three to four years. I got the Marantz and no problem. BTW, it's the only one I found for the price that still show 3D movies. A great buy.

Very good A/V receiver, but difficult to set up

The more complex functions (setting up Zone 2, how to the system upscales audio/video is unclear). The online Q&A's appear to be ancient and so far as I can tell new questions are not answered. Marantz should have phone support for complex equipment that is likely to be installed with varying equipment and expectations.
