Becoming Addicted to Marantz
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a long time Yamaha fan since the mid 1970's but I needed to upgrade to the 4k technology in order to get my 4k blue ray to operate properly. I am not a fan of setting Avr's up because I dont do this everyday and the last major change was 9 years ago. The setup on this AVR was a dream come true! Made my connections and powered it up and the on screen setup began immediately and walked me through the entire process and even setup the Audyssey testing. I was impressed and only made one minor mistake which I corrected the next day. The sound coming out of this regardless of source is incredible. Focused surround, spacious music and many options. Bluetooth options from phone finally allow me to listen to my Amazon library with ease. I am sold!

Great Home Theater Sound, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced an older, under powered Denon receiver with the SR5013. First one I needed to return because the WiFi didn’t work. Magnolia was great about replacing it. The replacement works awesome, but there are so many set up options, with not much guidance on what setting provides what outcome in the manual, that it took quite a while to get things properly tweaked for my set up. Now that it is done, the sound is great. One complaint - backlight the dang remote!
