I was a fan of Marantz to begin with. I am an even BIGGER fan now! Setup was great... It sounds great.... As an added bonus are the ipad apps that I can use to clearly control the settings without hunting for my remote.

The sound quality is great. The guided setup made connecting and configuring a breeze. Marantz even has an iPad app that I can control and configure the receiver without needing to find where I put the remote!

This is a solid entry level home theater AVR. I say entry level as this is an excellent value and foundation to build a home theater around and one of the most versatile on the market. Key points: Very neutral response compared to other offerings. Marantz is known for being one of the more neutral sounding receiver/amplifiers. This allows your music to really shine. Movies may seem more clinical than a Pioneer Elite however, they do not suffer, they simply aren't as colored. Pre-amp outputs for all channels. Here is a key component that makes this a building block. Depending on your speakers you can use this as a pre-amp processor.

Made my old speakers sound brand new. Shocking what a change in the receiver does to the change in sound. Setup was easy but it takes a while to go through the speaker setup.

Visually takes you through the entire setup, and even troubleshoots poor or out of phase connections. Simple setup, good EQ, great sound.

Really nice receiver with lots of power and lots of features. Took some time to figure out basic adjustments via online user manual. Some options way over my head.

Finally had to upgrade my system. This receiver is perfect, great sound for music and movies. Easy setup too.

The sound is strong and crisp from each of the surround sound speakers. It does sound like you are in the scene that you are viewing. When my 20 year old grandson heard the quality of the sound he said "Can we listen to some of my favorite YouTube Videos with this amazing sound system. Worth every dollar.

Unfortunately lightning storm fried my high end Sony Amp and Pre Amp the Marantz 7.2 actually as the power to drive my speakers to the clearest sound levels I have ever heard both in music and video. Nothing Better than saving a buck and getting better results.

easy to connect and setup, great sound, very pleased

Just finished my basement with an 7.1 Atmos environment. Given I didn't need the extra speakers to drive me to the more expense models of this receiver, this was perfect for me and the price isn't bad for the power it brings.

I've had the system for little over a month. The SR11 did not last me quite one year. Had to use my Best Buy warranty for replacement. Hopefully will have better luck with this would

I purchased a Marantz Receiver and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend buying this receiver. It sounds great - I have Bose speakers connected to it - Awesome sound!

So far so good with my klipsch towers,center, subwoofer and a pro cinema 600 satelite speakers and subwoofer the sound is very good and in stereo mode with just towers speakers playing i can fully blast it with out distortion

Bought during the holiday rush. Puts out great power and looks good as a centerpiece for an entertainment setup. Airplay works great with my iPhoneX. Nothing else needs to be said besides it does the job. Great product.

Easy set up and interaction. I look the way it sounds and the interaction is good but not great.. I would have given 5. It just seems like they did all that hard work and got to finish line and ran out of gas.

All the inputs and outputs you want... beautiful ceisp sound without distortion that tou dind in cheaper receivers. Good looking unit

I OWNED MARANTZ MANY YEARS AGO IT WAS THE BEST .THIS NEW ONE IS VERY GOOD ALSO.I HAD A HIGH POWER SONY THAT THIS IS REPLACING.THIS IS A BIG UPGRADE!

Excelent sound especially in stereo which is not typical of AV receivers. Highly recommended especially if you want the best sound for your money.

This unit is powering my theater room sound and providing quite a punch. There is plenty of power to generate great sound from speakers.
