Awesome Sound

Receiver "freezes" TV picture

That is very annoying to say the least. Otherwise it powers my Definitive Technology towers and speakers very well. Probably will need a replacement unit.

Fantastic Receiver for Music and Movies

I primarily use this for 2.1 channel audio, but also enjoy the occasional movie with surround sound and it sounds fantastic for both. It has a very detailed sound that is neutral, without any hint of harshness. Setup and learning to control all of its features can take some time, but it will be well worth it!

For 4K visual and surround sound

So I was familiar with the quality it can provide. I only changed it to get to the next level with the 4K experience. And I am there... It's unbelievable how far the technology has progressed.
