Just a wonderful receiver!

But I'm really glad I stepped up to the sr6012. The sound is warm and Rich. The sound produced by this receiver is just stunning. Paired with my elac speakers I couldn't be happier.

Great receiver and well worth the money

Only downside is there are no individual EQ adjustments. I'm used to the old-fashioned knobs where you can adjust sound levels and individual speaker volumes.

Great Receiver

Good receiver with lots of features

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this receiver because I wanted one that I could hook up to my 4K TV and it would pass though the signal. So far I've been relatively happy with it. My only issues are that it doesn't get as loud as my Denon did and when I turn it on, it switches to the TV's speakers instead of my home A/V speakers and I have to turn it off and back on again to get it to switch. If it weren't for those issues, I may have given it 5 stars.

I use dedicated amps so the fact that this unit has pre amp output was ideal for me. It is being used in a conventional speaker arrangement so I havent used the atmos surround but, I am happy that I have that option in the future. Also, I'm really pleased with the hdmi video switching capability of this Marantz.
