Included bluetooth means one can play itunes or streaming services through unit to speakers. Works well. No complaints so far.

The receiver worked about half way through setup. It started giving me crazy choices and not accepting commands. At some point the receiver just turned off. When I turned it back on it would just turn back off and the red power led started blinking. I disconnected all external wiring and all I could get was a red blinking power on light. I called Geek Squad (I had purchased Geek Squad protection) they told me to return it to the store for repair. In TWO WEEKS I got a call from Geek Squad saying they were not permitted to work on this produce and they needed to return it to Marantz. I should return to the store to get another one. They said they would return the purchase on a gift card and I could purchase another one, but the Geek Squad went with the item (I guess so Marantz could afford to fix it) so I needed to buy new protection. So, after explaining how dumb I thought that was I bought new coverage. Now they tell me the product is no longer for sale. So after two more weeks I am still waiting for my money.

I’d go with the bigger 11.2 if you have the room for more speakers . If not then this one is awesome

Just did the basement and attached Martin Logan speaker to this receiver. Love the receiver.

Marantz has always been a leader in the A/V world and this is no exception.

Geek squad took most of a day but got it all setup beautify!!!

This receiver is the perfect one for our home system

AVR HDMI Arc channel output was dead out of the box as others have said on reviews. Before I took it back I hooked my power hungry Polk A9's to this AVR instead of my Emotiva 600 watt rms amp to see how it would perform.. 5 minutes of skipping through a few songs it is nowhere as clear as an amp or separates notes and about 5 minutes into playing at 3/4 volume the AVR got so hot it started to distort so I shut it down and took it back. Upgraded to the SR6014 but at $500.00 increase for 2 extra channels.. Think if I did it again I would of went with the Denon 3600..

Had issues with set up and HDMI board I would not recommend a marantz I exchanged it for a pioneer elite and am very happy I did

When it works, it's outstanding. What's disappointing is that I purchased it on January 4th, 2020 and it required replacement within three months. I purchased the Best Buy protection plan and it was replaced. Now one year later, the same issue; it's not working and Best Buy states "it was already replaced once" and now it's no longer covered. Extremely disappointed that it only lasted one year, especially at this price point.

I bought this wanting it for its 4K capabilities but the dar thing never powered up.

I am not sure that it works? The geeks set it up but didn’t show us how it operates. I called the store and waited 40 minutes to speak with someone and talked to him for a few minutes before his call was dropped. We are planning to go to the store to get this matter resolved.

Installed by Geek Squad one week ago and is not working. Waiting for Geek Squad to come back and repair this receiver.

No star point awarded. Never got the equipment I ordered since March.

Just replaced my 16 yr old Onkyo NR900 receiver. The Onkyo was still working good, but was very dated. The setup menu utilized the svideo output. Had to replace my 10+yr old Samsung DLP TV earlier this year with a new Samsung LED TV, so no more svideo. Had my sites on other brand AV receivers until the Best Buy rep let me listen to the SR5014 Marantz. The decision was clear, this unit has a deep rich sound with depth. Wifi and bluetooth built-in was a plus. The first unit has several issues with the video output on HDMI 1 and the microphone would not work on the speaker setup. Returned the defective unit for a new one the next morning. The 2nd one works great. Still gave it 5 stars with this issue as the Marantz customer support was great and worked with me. Best Buy swapped out the unit with zero problems as well. Looking for many years of usage.

Great product. Nicer then any other similar product. I’m so glad I switched. It was a great choice. I highly recommend this product.

Originally purchased a Denon AVR-X1600H at $599 to power 4 channels including two (4-ohm rated) Elac Uni-fi UB5 Bookshelf Speakers... The Denon struggled to power the speakers and I found myself disappointed with the sound quality. Decided to upgrade to the Marantz and WOW - what a difference. It just seems to put out such a significantly improved sound and it feels like it could drive a truck! Powers my Uni-fi speakers with ease. I could not be more pleased. The HEOS app is a little lackluster but once you are able to hook up your streaming services you don't need it all that much. I would definitely recommend this receiver and certainly can consider myself a newfound Marantz devotee!

I bought this during thanks giving. It was working on and off, after few months changed the 4K HDMI cable then started working. Now that also stopped. When I change the source it just says no input signal. I bought sonanance in ceiling speakers, there is no noticeable experience. Wasted 3 k for nothing. Very disappointed. Opend a case with marantz they want me to send the unit to their repair center. Frustrating.
