Customers enjoy the Marantz SR6014's exceptional sound quality and ample power, finding it easy to set up and use. Many appreciate its Dolby Atmos capabilities, although some users find the display size insufficient and the unit runs warm during operation. The receiver's multi-channel capabilities are also frequently praised.

The sound is amazing from this receiver. It is never lacking power and pairs great with my DefTech speakers and SVS subwoofer. It works great with movies, netflix, sports, etc.

Last receiver was a pioneer elite, this time I wanted to try something different and I’m glad I did. The Marantz rocks plenty of power and features. Easy to setup; phone app works great.

Bought this to replace my Elite SC65. It’s powering KEF R500 front speakers and CC, and Q50a Atmos speakers.
Auditioned against the Pioneer Elite LX504 and Denon 3600. I found the Marantz to be the most musical with a sound that will not be fatiguing over long listening sessions. It has all the latest codecs including support for IMAX enhanced content. 3rd party audio magazine reviews have been very strong.
Styling is top notch, build quality is top notch, but the small porthole leaves a lot to be desired. You have more than enough inputs to support all your connection needs and the rear layout is easy to navigate.

Pretty on the shelf. Replace an older Denon I had. Streaming features now permit me to listen to high quality on my home theater system. Compliments my B&W C8 Towers, Bose rear channel spkrs, SVS sub and B&W center speaker. As a 9.2 it provides me with the ability to expand my system from current 5.1 to 9.2 down the road. My only complaint is with Best Buy's handling of my reward points. They have not credited me with the points and it's impossible to access my account through their website and BB is impossible to get on a chat or phone call.

Best Receiver I've ever experienced

I upgraded my receiver to have 4k UHD pass through for my upgraded Epson 5050 4k projector and my Yamaha did not have that feature.
I am not an expert on receivers by any means, but the quality difference is significant and justifies the price without hesitation. The sound quality is significantly better and the 4k on the screen is perfect.
Highly recommended don't hesitate to go for this product.

Well.. Made the jump to 4k this holiday and well, my previous AVR doesn't support 4k so needed to upgrade. Owned Pioneer for decades, decided to take a leap of faith and try something new. After talking it over with one of the CSR's at my local BB store, I decided on the Marantz. Woah nelly, what an upgrade it was! I've always wondered if the grass was greener on the other side and it 110% is. This thing is a beast! Time for a projector and 100+" screen... I'll be back for more toys!

Got this AVR after I got a 5014 that had the Arc HDMI channel output dead out of the box.
It is a nice receiver. The sound is nowhere as clear or separate to my Polk A9's as when powered by my ($1k) Emotiva 600 watt rms amp which is required to run 11 channels. (7.2.4)
AVR runs hot/needs an aircom T9 fan on top.
If I did it again I think I would of went with the Denon 3600.

This is my first (Marantz AV) I will never buy another band hands down the best!!! I'm hearing things in music that i've never heard before its nuts. The level of control you get with each speaker is top notch. My only con is this model is it doesn't have that blue light ring on it because that looks really cool

Great sound output, easy to setup and balance the audio with the included microphone and cardboard stand. The selection of audio modes/speaker selection is awesome. Remote is easy to understand and operate. I would buy this model again. So far in a month of use I have not found anything I dislike.

After reading tons of positive reviews and seeing it checked nearly all the boxes, I gave it a try. After two days I returned it. Coming from a six year old Yamaha the Marantz didn’t quite measure up. Even after using its built in analytics it just never sounded right. I quickly learned its port hole display wasn’t something I could live with throughout the life of the receiver. Lastly, no matter what did the turntable inputs wouldn’t work. Deal breaker. Packed it up and returned the unit to Best Buy.
BTW; I bought another Yamaha and again in AVR heaven.

This was purchsed a couple of months ago with a new T.V. and DVD player. Had this installed with in-ceiling speakers. Connected to T.V., DVD, and an existing turntable and CD player. Sound is amazing. Use the receiver with a Logitec universal remote. Easy to use. Appreciate the Geek Squad helping with set up.

I upgraded my media center Onkyo surround receiver to the Marantz SR9.2 ch 4K HD receiver. The video & sound are of audiophile quality. The picture on my 4K Samsung TV is outstanding. The surround sound and stereo are crisp, clean and precise. This is a very good receiver for a reasonable price.

Love this receiver. Upgrade from an ONYKO. I was lucky to get the display model, just when the new models arrived in the store. Got it for a 30% reduced price. Was hoping to get it lower. Still setting the receiver up, but I'm happy with what I'm hearing.

This has been a great purchase. Very pleased with the sound for movies and music. Setup was easy.
Currently running a 7.1 System but hope to upgrade to a 9.1 setup.
This also handles 11.2 but need an external amp for the last two channels.
