You can’t love what you don’t have. Promised on this date a month ago. I’d have to be home to sign for it so I made sure I would be. It showed I’d be receiving tomorrow as of yesterday. Today it showed it would not be? Marantz didn’t know if they were still being manufactured and would eventually come in. Neither Best Buy or Marantz seem to know what they are doing….

The front fold down door will not stay closed. I contacted Marantz and the customer service department, I was advised to send the receiver in for repair on a new $3000.00 Receiver.
It will be returned.
Also there is not a paperback User Manual included. They want me to purchase from a 3rd party.

The home theater is a solid 5 *. Excellent sound, not the easiest to setup but it’s replacing a Denon and it was even more complicated. Customer experience was 5 (poop emoji)

Disappointed... overly mellow, recessed

I do not find it easy to use, and I do not like the "sound signature" which MIGHT be a little more "resolved" but is also overly rounded and overly "smooth" at the expense of punch and excitement. I much prefer the sound of my 15 year old Pioneer Elite... even watching movies: the Marantz vocals are more "recessed" while the Elite's vocals are crisply clear. Plus, I've had nothing but trouble with Audessy... and I'm no novice to this field. I get better results simply by ear, with the Elite. I'm returning the sr7015, and will simply enjoy my excellent Elite for now and if I decide I "must"... er... "upgrade," I will wait for the Onkyo Z50 arrival.
