Love it and hate it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it and hate it all at the same time. There’s a lot of reading but not enough info, lol. So the not enough info is the explanation on how to get through a spot, you kinda just have to figure it out. But it’s golfing and Mario so it’s still great.

Overall fun game to play
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A fun game on the Switch. Especially if you have more people to play it with. There are a few different modes to play so it doesn't have to be the same every time.

Not Perfect, But Still Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a great game. Not a masterpiece, but still very solid and fun. Motion controls took a round of 18 to acclimate but once I did they were really fun. Game needs more courses but theyre adding free updates as DLC so, we can look forward to that. I still think World Tour was a bit better, tjen again the graphics are way better here ane the motion adds a level of fun not seen since Wii Sports.

Might be the best Mario Golf but lacks content
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a fan of Golf games and always liked the Mario Golf Games. I give this one 4 stars with the hope for more content in the future because that's really this games big downfall. The Golfing Mechanics are all around fantastic & speed golf is a nice change of pace... literally. Single player is pretty bare bones, the story is only a few hours of gameplay. Multiplayer is nice if you have family & friends to play with. It needs more in terms of content, more single player, more courses & unlockables, more game modes, more online game modes.... miniature golf would be an awesome addition! Overall, gameplay is great, but there just needs to be more content! It is getting more content drops like Mario Aces received, so fingers crossed for the future content!

Wii Sports Golf with Mario
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this on release week, in hopes this would take the play of wii Sports Golf. This game did not fail. My husband and I have only used the motion control part of the game, the teenagers use the buttons and motion. The motion control is fun and pretty easy to use. The different characters and fun and each one does handle differently. We have unlocked all the courses so we hope that maybe someday soon Nintendo will send out new courses. This game does exactly what we were hoping, it is just like wii Sports Golf.

i have some gripes but overall its fine.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.they really couldve done alot more but whats here is good. the intro is cool but the music is generic and overall presentation of the game is uninspired. the story mode is trash they force u to play with ur mii and thn they force u to do other modes like speed golf and cc golf to unlock content. i will tell u right now u will lose at cc golf a few times it will turn u into the angry video game nerd and u might even return the game lol. there is a learning curve but its nothing crazy just give it like a week or 2 before u hate it. play online with ur friends, doing that has been the saving grace for me with this game. so unless u really want a golf game for switch id say pass on it, wait for zelda to come out next friday and spend ur money on that instead. mario golf is a fun time tho.

A Fun Course
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mario Golf: Super Rush is a fun game. That's all there really is to it. The normal golf is enjoyable, although slightly dull due to lack of the "Mario" gimmicks messing everything up. Fortunately, Speed Golf gives you more craziness by letting you go after the ball after you hit it & going for the best time. Speed Golf feels very arcade-like which makes for pretty addicting gameplay. If you want even MORE chaos, Battle Golf is a pit of violence & panic as you rush to get 3 holes before your opponents. Each round is very short, but so fun you'll want to play it again. I'm sure what many people really want to know about is Golf Adventure. It's... fine? Like, it's nothing really that special; it acts more as a tutorial & a way to unlock a few features for the other modes like playing as your Mii with the stats from the Adventure. The story exists; the gameplay is just all the modes; the bosses are somewhat unspectacular. All in all, it really just serves the purpose of getting you used to the game. Despite all this, I still found it pretty fun while it lasted, and that's all that matters to me. That's pretty much the gist of it. There's not a ton in the game, but what is there is enjoyable. Despite the issues I may have with some parts of the game, I still go & play it just to have some fun. And online play is actually pretty decent if I want to play with my friends. There's no real incentive for me to keep playing after beating Adventure mode, but there doesn't really need to be. The game is simply fun enough to keep me playing. That's all there is to it!

Nintendo scores a hole in one!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it may not be the best in the series, the new Mario Golf: Super Rush is a fun and engaging addition to one of my favorite franchises of all time. Criminally underrated when reviewing "best of lists," the Mario Golf games have always offered easy to approach and timeless fun. I absolutely love the new modes (speed gold and adventure more) and have had a ton of fun playing online multiplayer. The only drawback is the limited amount of courses at launch, but I would expect updates in the future. I still think this game is an absolute must-own for Nintendo fans and Switch owners.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Core game play is fun, but currently needs an update to the content. More courses and characters would be nice. Haven't tried online yet. Having motion controls is nice to change it up.

Motion controls! Why is this the only game?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this game for my father in law as he is not exactly able to play golf anymore. While he liked playing the mini games on Mario Party, his first request when we played that was “Is there a golf mini game?” Well needless to say, he embraced the game whole heartedly. While he doesn’t care for the button control play, he LOVES using the motion controls and enjoys playing just that. This is a person who isn’t entirely fond of video games, but is now on his own, starting the switch and playing 18 holes. Graphics are normal Nintendo standard, as well as the sound. As far as gameplay, There is an adventure mode which I am slowly working on, but is fun if you are into golf, and if you aren’t is still really entertaining, and you may learn a thing or two. The surprising part, this is the only game I am aware of that has motion controls for a golf game. It is part of the reason why he enjoys it. Using button controls allows for crazier things to happen, like using your characters special powers or cause your ball to change its flight path as its hit. The only gripe I have is that if you are using one joy-con you have to hold the joy-con one way, but when you get into the actual game you have to rotate it 90 degrees. This is a minor complaint but the only issue I have. There are a few other modes I would live to try (like online mode vs a friend,) speed golf (which I have only played once, and I do kind of like) and Battlemode which I only played against the cpu and thought it was ok. Overall if you are looking for a golf game that uses motion controls, this is your game. If you are looking for a golf game that is also plain fun and not intimidating to get into, this is your game. And if you are looking for a golf game that may offer a little bit of something for everyone, this is your game.

Great Game of golf
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great golf game for both casual or hardcore players. Play as your favorite mario character and play against the computer or your friends, both online and off. There's also a speed golf mode that is pretty fun. Graphics are very good in both desktop and handheld. It could use a few more courses, but there is some free DLC coming soon so we'll see about that.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is such a fun game to play with the family. The family and I always do game nights and this one is always played. Also a good way to get our kids into golf. Nintendo knocked this one out of the park.

Itsa Mario Golf!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s golf in the Mushroom Kingdom. I’m a fan of old school Mario Golf and the latest edition cuts down on the swing difficulty (which many loved) and focuses its efforts on players racing to their ball to take the next shot, with both speed and shot accuracy playing a part in victory. Of course, a “more” traditional game of golf exists, but the easier swing mechanics make it perhaps too simplistic for Mario Golf veterans but ideal for family play with younger players involved. Each familiar Nintendo golfer has their own special swing which not only sticks it’s landing like Mary Lou, but knocks other player’s balls in that area away, making for a fun twist to standard golf. This special swing has a meter which fills with swings taken and can be used once when the meter fills completely. Players can customize games from three to 18 holes and can golf alone or with up to three other players. As players progress their are new golf courses and club sets to unlock which increase the difficulty and ability. Great game, especially in rush mode.

Very good game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think it's a really fun game to play and have spent hours on it. I love some of the challenges such as speed golf and the fact that everyone can play at the same time instead of waiting for turns. I like the adventure mode too, and definitely recommend that you play that first so you can learn the game mechanics, I jumped straight into online and missed out on a lot of techniques like ball spinning, etc. I just wish there were variety, i.e more characters, and courses. Who knows maybe they will add more later? You can unlock some customization in the rank battles like different colour variants for Yoshi. I do agree with others that's it's not worth $60 but iwould say wait till the sale.

A fun return to golf in the Mario series
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mario Golf Super Rush is a welcome return to golf in the series. They followed a similar mechanic to Tennis Aces for the power-up, with interesting obstacle additions with supernatural disasters. What stands out most is that you can go from course to course in turn order, or spend each course racing from stroke to stroke and sabotaging the competition in the usual chaotic flair. Free DLC has dropped, and we can only hope they continue to update the game to keep the player community engaged, but I'm not necessarily counting on it. If you want some solo content (story) or have a group you regularly play with (multiplayer), this just works. Otherwise, you may want to wait for a sale or other Mario sports games to be announced. I personally enjoyed playing matches in the story, but didn't feel too engaged throughout the gameplay to want to come back to it regularly.
