My kids love this game. We play it as a whole family.

One of the reasons I even bought a Wii U. Great fun for the family!

Lots of fun. The more the merrier. New vehicles. New courses.

Since my early childhood, I enjoyed video games and now my children can experience what I did, just a little better! Having the pre-owned selection allows my kids to trade in and buy titles without having to pay full price. My son loves this game. I can't get him to stop playing. His sisters love playing with him. Glad summers almost here.

Probably one of the best games in the Mario kart franchise.

This Mario Kart has 49 Levels and a TON of almost every other element that you'd expect from Mario Kart. Seriously, there's so many karts, characters, levels, accessories plus such refined mechanics that easily make this the best Mario Kart. I'm sad for the Nintendo Switch only because I fear that the new Mario Kart for that won't be as good as this. Really, I'm not sure what criticisms I have for this game. Well, the battle royale is pretty disappointing and nowhere as good as before. Using real levels as maps was stupid. It creates way too big of a playspace and ruins the knifefight feel of the old battle royales. But that's one mode in a game FULL of content so, ultimately, this is still a great game.

Extra fun all the characters in the game, as well good graphics, is a plus can play 4 players at same time on tv, that provided extras hours of fun.

Christmas present purchase for son who's Mario crazy. Clean, classic and timeless fun game. Plays for hours & has large variety of characters & courses.

This game brings back all the old memories of Mario and the graphics and gameplay is superb! Love this game - love Mario!

good to entertain kids over 8 years old, my kids have enjoyed playing this version of mario kart this summer

I purchased Mario Kart 8 hoping that it would bring me days of enjoyment like I got out of Mario Kart 64 (which I still own). Unfortunately, Mario Kart 8 became stale after beating the single player racing cups. Mario Kart 8 has so many devastatingly effective weapon items that racing is now just a part-time job. The other part is staying in last or second to last place so you get all the fun, overpowered items every 30 seconds. It seems like Nintendo has tried to hard to make Mario Kart an extremely even playing field for veteran and beginning players alike. In doing so, this game gets old about one week after beating all the racing cups. The level design is great and the soundtrack is fantastic. The characters are pretty boring unless you want to pay for extras. Nintendo seemed to be one of the last game companies not requiring DLC to experience the full game. Now they have succumbed to the all-mighty dollar. This game requires several separate DLC purchases in order to experience 8 more tracks (so far) and a handful of much cooler characters than are standard. The standard characters are mostly made up of bowser and his seemingly endless number of family members. I bought this game, finished this game, and traded it in for Super Mario 3D World all within two weeks time. I suggest you do the same.

Really fun for the family and along with friends to play. Have spent endless amount of hours with friends playing the game. Lots of rivalry and smack talking due to this game.

This version for the Wii U is a great improvement overall. It has so many options, an extra faster speed and DLC that really adds more to the experience. After playing mario kart 7, I desperately wanted to play this one too.

This is a decent racing game, especially if you are a fan of the series. Great for playing when you have friends or family over. This game has a large selection of characters to play. Many new race tracks and returning (though redone) tracks. Graphics are great. The items in the game though aren't the greatest I'd say.
