This speaker blew me away. For its size, the Acton II packs a serious punch, clear vocals, crisp highs, and bass that fills the room without getting muddy. It looks like a classic Marshall amp, and the build feels premium. The tactile knobs for volume, bass, and treble are a nice touch — makes it easy to fine-tune without needing to open an app every time. Bluetooth pairing was quick, and I love that I can connect two devices at once and switch between them. No battery (AC power only), so it’s not meant to move around, but it’s perfect for a living room, bedroom, or office setup. If you’re into retro style and solid sound, this one nails both. Highly recommend.

I bought the Marshall Acton II Bluetooth speaker as a gift for my wife, and she absolutely loves it! The sound is rich, clear, and powerful for such a compact speaker. The classic Marshall design looks beautiful in our home, and it’s super easy to use. I was also lucky to get it at a great price, which made the purchase even better.

Great design, high quality and great sound from a relatively small speaker. Connects easily and quickly to Bluetooth. No issues at all, really. Happy with this purchase.

Marshall speakers always delivers rich sound and ACTION II delivers what was promised. It’s a great compact speaker that fits beautifully anywhere you place it in the room. High on BASS which might feel lot louder and some may not find it capturing. Aux feature allows you to plug in your cellphone and not headphone. Only drawback is that it is not portable and need to be plugged into power always.

When I picked up the Marshall Action II I was expecting big sound. I wasn't let down. The unit easily connects to Bluetooth and also provides the you with a mini jack for external devices. Out of the box you need to download the Marshall app to your Iphone and you are prompted to update the Action II firmware. Once updated and connected to your Iphone Bluetooth you are off to enjoy. The Marshall has a rich full sound and It will fill a small to medium sized room with great sound. It has the look of a vintage Marshall Amp.

Its an amazing speaker. The treble and bass knobs are responsive. Its loud enough for a medium size hall to watch a movie or play songs. The volume knob seems to be nonlinear as most of the sound amplification comes towards max volume. The bluetooth is responsive and i dint have any problems connecting to it.Although, I have sometimes noticed speaker faintly crackling when multiple devices were connected to the speaker. Sadly the speaker does not come with wifi connectivity.

This Bluetooth speaker is built in a wooden cabinet and the sound output certainly benefits from it. This sound is capable of filling an above average sized room, and to great effect! I listen to rock music and songs played on this speaker just bring a smile to my face. Size is decent and it looks stunning. It adds to the decor of my house! Do note that this is not a portable speaker (needs connection to power outlet).

This was the perfect addition to my home office. I wanted something that would look upscale and compliment my decor, while providing excellent quality sound. In the looks department, the Acton II hits the nail on the head. Fit and finish is amazing, knurling on the knobs, soft gold accents, classic Marshall look. Sound-wise, I'd say that it's very good. The companion mobile app is key and I think that's what elevates the sound above other Bluetooth speakers. There are quite a few presets and I've found a few that sound excellent. Without the ability to change the EQ more minutely, I think it would just match competitors (again, in the sound department). What sealed the deal for me was the black Friday discount. At the normal price, I'd have likely given a 4-star review. Either way, awesome speaker!

I mean, it's a Marshall..the quailty is there and the sound is amazing. I love the fact that you can change the settings of the tremble and bass with knobs on top like a real band speaker you see at like concerts and events.

This thing sounds great. It’s got a big sound for such a small foot print. Some people said it wasn’t loud enough, but I think for its size its plenty loud. And has great bass for something so small. It’s got that great Marshall look to it kinda plexi looking.

I love this speaker! It's easy to connect via Bluetooth and has a good sound. Looks nice and is very simple to clean. Also, the volume, equalizer, etc can be controlled in the app.

Wonderful sound, nothing less expected from Marshall. A powerhouse packed into a small beautiful box. Well made. Bluetooth connectivity is solid aswell.

I recently purchased this Bluetooth speaker after carefully comparing this speaker to the Bose speaker. In addition to these I also listened to the JBL speaker system also. The Marshall speaker system sounded far and away better than the JBL speaker and significantly better than the Bose speaker. Are use the speaker in my garage for music when I’m working on my cars. It easily feels the whole garage and part of my cul-de-sac with great sounding music! I genuinely could not be happier with this speaker purchase! I will be recommending this brand to my friends.

After reviewing desktop speakers to replace my Bose Companions, I realized it boils down to taste and expectations. Growing up in the 60s, playing a little bass, going to countless great concerts in NYC, and knowing Marshall's excellence led me to check this one out. I've owned McIntosh 500 watt and 270 watt amps, KEF 107s, etc. If that's what you want, add 0s. This is an amp, preamp and single speaker smaller than a shoe box - and it's excellent for what is. Plus, looking at my mini-amp look alike with light-up red dials makes me smile. Setup: Less than 10 minutes to unpack, plug in, download the app, connect my phone and play music. Read a few complaints about the app spamming you with offers and tracking you. Opt out of email and analytics when you set up. I allowed analytics because that does help product repairs and improvement. Sound: Read a few complaints about not enough volume. After listening to one at the store, I was convinced it's user problems. I'm listening from another room with the speaker volume at 50%. Any louder would make my neighbors unhappy. Turn the volume on your phone, tablet or computer to max and control volume at the speaker. Bass, mids and highs are what to expect in this price range. Voices and cymbals are clear, bass isn't muddy. Listening for the past hour hasn't made me want to turn them off. These beat the Bose Companions and Sonos Ones, in my opinion. Marshall should add an equalizer to their app - keep the bass and treble dials of course - and boom, perfection. Are you listening Marshall? Connection: Tested at the opposite end of my 1,200 sq foot condo through a couple of walls without any connection loss. Durability: I'll be back. Bottom Line: For under $300, you won't find a better speaker. They may not be to your liking, but that's a matter of taste. And they look great on my desk and make smile.

Marshall being so prominent in the amplification area on makes them more qualified for home stereo. This is the best speaker i have used for the money. Aesthetically it looks just as amazing. None of this even describes the sound quality. The perfect amount of bass to give the sound some punch while still having great mid range and balanced tremble to hear the nuance of any genere.

Great speaker! Awesome sound. Portable and easy to use anywhere. Vintage look gives a super cool elevated style to any room. My son loves it.

Birthday present for my wife, she loves it. I'm glad I chose black, this color scheme is very retro and classic. As a decoration, it goes well with the overall style of the home. Regarding the sound quality, it is very suitable for listening to rock music, and there is enough detail in the bass part. The premise is that the volume should be turned up enough.

Great Bluetooth Marshall speaker. It looks like and works like an “amp”. Well crafted, designed, and built and fits in a contemporary or retro decor. Mine is retro. I didn’t want a speaker with a leather handle as I was afraid it wold eventually wear out and like that this one looks like the real thing without it. However, there is a hand/finger grip space on the back which makes it easy to carry or move. Pleasantly surprised by the size - size snd sound nicely fills up the space and can hear well and clear from a distance. Bought this to use in other rooms where the sound bar sound does not carry. Recommend!
