This is hands down my favorite purchase that I have bought the entire year. This speaker is a good medium size with bluetooth compatibility and I was so shocked when I first started playing it and the sound quality was SO GOOD. You can adjust the bass and you can hear sounds that youve never heard before. Who needs to go to a concert when you can just listen to this speaker?

I use this with the aux connection with my Sony record player and a Sony CD player (using RCA to aux adapter)
Honestly I love the size and sound that comes out of this thing!
I live in an apartment so I can't play it too loud but it's been pretty reliable in the few weeks I've had it
Keep in mind the device needs to be plugged in to use, it's not a wireless speaker it needs a power source

This is the best speaker ive ever heard of its kind & approxinate size. Its an AC only indoor speaker. No battery, not waterproof. If you wact a more portable chargeble speaker in this style the Kilbourn is the right choice. This Acton 3 improves upon the Acton 2 that I also own. For me the best advantage is that when using the aux input it doesbt go to sleep forcing me to press the button like on the Acton 2. I have both wired to an Echo Dot as part of of my whole home music system(or if i simply want to belt out a tune from a single speaker) and for using Alexa as well. The Acton 3 sounds a little better too but both sound fine to my ears. This latest version is smoother, less fatigueing without giving up clarity or bass. It also seems to have a larger soundstage, quite impressive fir its size. Im not claiming massive improvements, yet I appreciate what theyve done. All in all as good as the first 2 editiins are this one is even more fun. My only gripe is picky. I wish it was a darker brown. Looks great yet i feel it woukd look best in dark brown. This is more of a saddle brown. That said my Acton 2 is in black and i like that one best in black and the Acton 3 in brown althiugh all the colors ive seen look decent enough. I own several other AC bluetooth speakers with Aux in such as the Fluance Fi50, GGMM M3, Klipsch the One 2, Echo Studio(original), Tewell, Electrohome, and more and the Acton 3 is the best in my opinion in both sound and looks. Highly recommend.

Fantastic sound at low or high volume. I wanted something I could get some bass out of but still move around the house. This speaker has been fantastic for that. It does need to be plugged in, but it produces great sound.

The sound quality is great, with easy to use controls. The design is awesome. Marshall cabinet, enough said.
The unit times out its connection after being left alone. This means you can walk away and not still have your audio connected. Simple toggle switch allows for easy/quick reconnection/connection.

(I got the excellent open box) This is actually a great sounding speaker, i think its very comparable to the harman kardon onyx 7 but a little louder with less bass. Premium build quality, its the real deal. It looks good but i wish it haf a battery, i understand it wouldnt get as loud and would be more expensive. I keep coming back to onyx just because of the battery and portability. It is great to keep in a room and stay there. The bass distorts at almost to full volume. I would recommend for the 170 bucks i paid, i just dont know about the retail price.

I love this Marshall Acton III Bluetooth speaker. The sound is incredible, and it allows you to adjust the base and treble that enriches the sound experience. This speaker also looks great on your table or shelf. If you want a great sounding and loud Bluetooth speaker, then I highly recommend the Marshall Acton III.

Wow. I've been all over the place searching for a good, powerful bluetooth speaker to plant next to my record player. I kept wanting Bose but kept getting put off by the cost and the recent look. I'd rather a retro boxy sort of tivolo aesthetic. I got this because it was worth a shot, on a sale and the return policy is so good.
Looks:
It looks and feels seriously authentic. This is not a cheap plastic modeling of a Marshall amp-- this is just a mini one with modern bells and whistles. It's SIGNIFICANT in weight the way a steel digital SLR feels compared to a newer plastic one. It's got the heft, the quality of the leather is the same as a concert one. It's not getting scuffed easily, it's not going to break anytime soon. I LOVE it.
The highlighted digital lights on the top are red. the volume dial has red lights showing the music levels. the toggle buttons for on and off admittedly makes the music nerd in me way too excited for that analog feel.
And the sound? YES! This thing has some serious power. I love the treble/bass levels you can adjust-- simple and just enough for something in this price point-- and no messy apps to manage it. It is right in front of you like the way you want it to be. But I feel like Marshall really has one up on Bose for this price range-- it really feels like a legit concert in your house. With zero tinittis flaring (elder millennial here) from dissonance. With the bass fully up it's a perfect balance of CLEAN sound but just a LITTLE dirty bass to really make it so powerful like a full stack right by the pit at a show. Love it. So glad I went with it. Easily the best speaker I have. I would never dream in a million years my turntable is transmitting my records via bluetooth to this speaker. It's as awesome sounding as my dad's Fischer receiver and speakers from the 70's. that's saying something.

The sound is remarkable - especially for a compact box! Fear not, the sound is rich with depth and breadth. Bass, mid, and treble are excellent and the free Marshall app gives easy control of bass and treble along with volume from the app. Of course, the box also has old school controls on top as well if you prefer to adjust them that way. The box is beautifully crafted as well - nothing about it is or looks cheap. But it also doesn’t shout out “hey, look at me!” like some. It hits above its weight and price category. Did I mention it was extremely easy to set up out of the box? I just plugged it in, turned it on, paired it to my phone and that was that. Perhaps you can tell it surpassed my expectations (and they were pretty high). If youre looking for a small speaker with fantastic sound, look no further.

Bought two last Christmas
One for my buddy but his teen age son quickly confiscated it for his room. Needless to say it was a hit
And the second one for a company friend who’s into karaoke
From what I understand both are operating beautifully and of course I have the best by protection plan that gives me peace of mind if any gifts should fail
I can easily replace or repair with no worry
I buy all my Christmas , birthday, anniversary , graduation, Christmas in July or just impulse buying on line and usually get super discounts and perks and when I’m in town I usually can pick it up at multiple locations in the Phoenix metro area the same day
The plus one protection plan is worth the cost so there’s no issues with any returns
So far every purchase has held up beautifully and every item in the future will be covered by the same plan
Happy Holidays!

When I first tried this new speaker, I wasn't too impressed. But after several hours of break-in use, it sounds very good to me. Be sure to give yours some time to settle in, too.
The volume and clarity and quality at high volume are more than I need for the 12x13 ft room where I use it.
Th Acton III is a great upgrade replacement for the Onyx Mini I had before.

It’s a premium quality budget speaker with high quality Marshall sound profile. It goes very loud and feels thumping bass shatters medium size room even without subwoofer attached. Perfect for any occasion. Would recommend to anyone.

Great sound, easy to use, includes an hop twit can be used to control all your marshal billeting speakers. Book it to your tv with an auxiliary cord for room filling sound. I absolutely love this speaker. I plan on buying more if the small ones to stack and combine sound. Highly recommend

This is my first time to buy Marshall speaker. It is so goood. I like the sound quality and appearance of it. It is worth for the price and makes my house more luxury.

My title says it all. The sound quality is superb and gets pretty loud. you start losing the bass once you turn it up to higher volumes, but it still sounds good and clear with a nice full sound. Only con would be that its just not powerful enough to cover any space larger than a decently large room. You can then pair two of them up.
