I researched many wireless headphones before purchasing these, they sound amazing and look very unique. I'm very happy with my decision. The case is the only thing keeping them from 5 stars. It looks and feels great, but the hinges have already loosened up. Just a bit, but it is noticeable.

After spending the last 72hrs with the Marshall Motif ANC they have quickly become my favorite pair of headphones to use over my Air Pods Pro and Galaxy Buds Live. The number one reason is sound quality and comfort.
Features:
Ability to adjust the level of ANC and Transparency
Bluetooth 5.2
IPX5 protection for the earbuds and IPX4 for the case
Compatible with Marshall Bluetoth App
Wireless charging
Stylish premium design
Small form factor that are comfortable to wear for long periods of time
Listening to music with the Marshall Motif ANC is a much more enjoyable experience. The biggest difference to me is how bright and clear the mid-tones came across accompanied by some punchy bass that is not overwhelming. If you prefer that deep bass like Beats headphones are known for the Marshall Motif ANC will most likely leave you disappointed. The sound stage is much more enveloping compared to the Air Pods Pro and Galaxy Buds Live. The default sound profile does leave a lot to be desired when it comes to the low-end grunt. Out of all the available equalizer settings, hip-hop turned out to be my favorite one. Across the board, the music sounded much louder and the bass was much stronger but without stealing the show. You can also create a manual profile if you want to dial in your personal touch. Overall most will be satisfied with the sound coming out of the Motif ANC.
As for the ANC performance, they won’t beat the likes of the top dogs like the Air Pods Pro or the Sony XM4 earbuds but they do a decent job of blocking noise from the environment. If you do priortize ANC, I don’t feel like the gap is performance is wide enough to justify spending extra for some small improvements. You also get a transparency mode useful when needing to be aware of your surrounding like during a jog. The Marshall app does allow you to change the intensity of the noise cancellation and the amount of sound to let in for the transparency mode. Overall the performance you get for noise cancellation is good for the price point.
When it comes to battery life is around 4-6hrs with ANC on. With ANC off do expect at least 1 or 2 additional hours of playback. Battery life is right around the average you get with similar headphones. A full charged for the case can take up to 3hrs via USB C charging and about an hour or more if you prefer to charge wireless. A 15min charge can net you an hour of playback.
Overall if you value sound quality the Marshall Motif ANC is a solid choice to consider. They sound great along with some good ANC. I personally value sound quality and this is where the Marshall Motif ANC shines the most. Battery life can be better, but more than makes up for it with the quick charge, if you don’t have time to wait for a full charge.

Worst headphones ive ever purchased.
Bought these thinking marshall was a good name for sound, wow was i wrong. They can not make BLUETOOTH products to save their life.
* They require GPS and BLUETOOTH to use their app (which is the only easy way to adjust any setting) this method saves life on the headphones but kills your phone. Not a solid trade off.
* they disconnect constantly on my s22 ultra. Contacted support 3 times and they have not been able to fix this, im seeing a lot of the negative reviews are the same issue. This started for me only a week into owning them. Ive tried everything they have said, clearing cashe, full hardware reset. You can be listening no problem and they turn off even at full power out lf nowhere, or you go to connect they wont until you preform a hard reset each time. Try doing that a few times youll be ripping your hair out.
*the ANC is poorly made. The headphones are not loud, but when the wind blows with ANC the volume goes so high it defens you, but when theres no outside sound the headphones are too quiet at full volume. Theres no in between.
* the headphones have metal knurrling on the bottom end that digs into your ear. If you wear a hat, beanie, any head cover it will exacerbly dig into your ears and hurt badly as it rips your sensitive ear skin.
*any phonecall im on the people say that it sounds like im far away then walking closer to the microphone when i talk. MARSHALL put all the design into the speakers but no time or effort into the microphone.
*the only positive of these headphones is they sound clear. Although that is entirely not worth the negatives. This is the worst experience with marshall, i liked their guitar amps and thought aonce thats their experience and expertise they would make good bluetooth headphones but this shows me they have not perfected not even slightly ironed out any issues with bluetooth conectivity.
*i highly recommend avoiding these headphones at all costs.

I ended up loving these and would highly recommend! However I did wear them to the gym quite a bit and the sweat seemed to cause a bit of water damage. Recommend for all uses besides the gym or cardio.

This MOTIF AND ear-in wireless headphones are suitable for those that are on the go! It could’ve been a 5-star if there was a volume control sensor for them.

These earbuds embody what Marshall is to me: vintage classy design matched with superb sound quality.
From the moment I opened the box, it already put me in a music room full of vinyl, musical instruments and the smell of smoke on carpet. The visual texture of the case looks like a guitar amp itself and the finish mimics an amp’s casing. The typeface logo and the inscription etching inside the case is executed perfectly. The earbuds even has the nice M of the brand and they look good on my ears. Just by looking at the device, you can tell the quality. Feeling it though is another thing. It is light but the feel of the material does not match the visual quality. It feels a little plasticky—but it seems solid. Maybe it’s how to keep the weight low, because the whole device and the earbuds when worn all feel really light.
Speaking of the fit, it is very snug. The shape slips right into my ear and the extended shape of the bud keeps it in place. I was confident in the fit that I did not worry about it while I was running. Even as I opened my mouth when I breathe or when sweat starts to roll in my ear, the buds stayed in place.
Now about the sound, which is the most important thing—I was surprised how great sound can come out of these light buds. The bass thump has the perfect oomph without trying to impose the power of the low frequency. In other terms, it is not trying hard. My phone was roughly around 35% level with youtube music on full volume, and the delivery of the sound was very balanced--- no equalizer tweaks. I turned up my phone volume, and dropped the app sound level to a third-- the range of the sound sounded wide and clear, meaning I can hear the midrange of BTS’ Butter with the highs coming in distinctly along with the low beat. So yes, sound quality is really great.
Connectivity is easy, like any Bluetooth device. My phone automatically recognized this specific Marshall ANC Motif Bluetooth headset and prompted a quick install of the supporting app and had a ten-minute firmware update. Phone calls are clear and according to the person on the other end of the line, my voice is clear, with a little sensitivity on background noise. Just something to point out as, the active noise cancellation is awesome. I did not hear my toilet flush while I was listening to a conference video. That means, if I am on the call, I just need to make sure I am aware of the surroundings because I can get so caught in how the noise cancellation engulfs me: the person I am speaking with will know that I just came from the restroom with me being unaware of that broadcast. I can already tell how this will be great for long flights. USB-C is standard, and wireless charging comes in super handy.
Plus, it’s a Marshall—these buds make me feel like I have something different and something cool. I do recommend it, but at the back of my head, I want to be the only one who has them.

These headphones look extraordinary and fit amazingly well. I have been a long time beats user that wanted an aesthetic change so I ordered these beautiful earbuds. I love Marshall amps and the sound was amazing when they worked properly.
Unfortunately, those are the only 3 things I enjoyed about the Motifs. I opened the box and paired them, no issue. Then I tried doing the firmware update and this is where things fell apart. It hit the halfway point and then froze. After multiple resets and no clear threads online on how to fix the issue, I just tried enjoying some music. The external app was intuitive. I played around with the long press settings and no matter what, could not get the headphones to switch ANC and transparency mode by long pressing the left or right pod.
I will keep an eye out on Marshall and hope that they release a new version in the future.

Packaging is minimal but protective and almost no plastic. The case is a faux leather that feel fabric like, it is nice to have a soft touch material. For reference, the case is only slightly larger than an Air Pod Pro case. It has USB type C and wireless charging. It looks like a mini Marshall app. It includes a small USB type C to type A cable.
Opening up the case, my Android device immediately noticed it an initiated pairing and the Marshall app download. This was such a simple process, probably the easiest Bluetooth pairing I've done on headphones. This associated it with my Google account and it even shows on my "Find My Device" page. I downloaded the app and there was a firmware update available. I left the ear buds in my ears while the update happened, it took only a few minutes. The app is great, it allows you to change the audio modes, touch controls on each ear bud, and change settings on the equalizer. The audio modes (active noise cancelling, transparency, and off) each have a unique sound to make it obvious what is happening.
The ear buds themselves are very light and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They look a little different in a sea where most look the same. The texture and M logo really stand out. The touch controls are great, with a small audible thud when tapped. The ear buds can be used separately and have a sensor to stop when removed from your ear.
The active noise cancellation has been excellent, but does drain battery faster than not using it (which is expected). I've been able to get very close to the advertised playback time of 20 hours with the case. When needing to charge, 15 minutes in the case gives you about an hour of listening time. I was able to fully charge them connected to USB C in about 3 hours.
'm not sure how they are doing this, but these ear buds have a very impressive low end. Bass is punchy and powerful, but not overdone. It is almost hard to believe such a small and light device is doing this. The higher end also sounds very clear and bright. Mid tones are expectedly great as well. Listening to podcasts is also great, voices sound clear. I'm not an audiophile, but have no complaints with the quality of the sound these small and light ear buds can produce.
One thing to note is the Bluetooth range of these ear buds. I'm able to get further away from my device than with other ear buds, I think this is because of the Bluetooth 5.2 protocol.
