But this one requires patience and skills for you to be able to moderate the sound that it makes in order for it to match your desired or comfortable sound.

Posted .Thank you for your review. Yes the Stockwell II does use manual EQ controls. I have found that keeping the EQ flat and playing the speaker in the 6-8 volume range will often offer the best listening experience. Please let us know if you have any further questions or feedback. Outstanding Sound!

I say unique because of its cool design. Most portable speakers seem to go with either a long square or round soda can shape. This one is more box like and relatively thin design. But don't let the design discourage you. It is still fairly small & portable and really has amazing sound. I love the rugged, rubber like case. It really feels like it is built to last. And I always prefer to have traditional dials instead of hard to find buttons for the controls. Battery life is rated at 20+ hours and it gives all of that and then some. Connecting with bluetooth to my phone was straight forward and easy. Most of all, the sound is incredible! I was expecting it to lack in the bass department because of the design but was I ever wrong. Deep clean bass and clear high tones (even at max volume) make this a real winner. I can honestly say from owning a few portable speakers that the Marshall line are clearly the best in balancing design, build quality, sound and price.

Posted .Hello Kasa, thank you for your review. The Stockwell II has bass and treble control knobs on the top of the speaker, these can be used to adjust the audio sound to suit your preferences. We hope you will consider Marshall Headphones speakers again in the future.

This was exactly what I was looking for but was disappointed with the sound. The volume features not great. I had to turn up volume all the way to get good sound.

Great sound and it makes cute little guitar sound effects when connecting to Bluetooth. It is a bit tricky to get your devices to pair to it, so slow down and take your time before getting irate at the speaker.
