For starters, I have over 15 different bluetooth speakers and my own studio almost fully soundproofed for my own music entertainment. Some of the most popular and common BT speakers I own are the JBL Charge 3 and 4, Sony XB lineups, and Bose Soundlinks. First two stores did not have this in stock when it showed online that they did, and fortunately, the third store DID actually have it in stock. All I have to say was it was definitely worth all the hassle and driving. These speakers are amazing. They aren't as bass-heavy as the JBL Charge 3 or 4 (which are know for its bass), but it just sounds right with its clarity, especially when listening to instrumentals. The ability to adjust the bass, and treble are also a bonus which allows a more customizable listening experience (and a side note: the knobs are milky smooth, it feels good to the touch and motion). The Stockwell also comes with a dedicated charging port for your phone, though it is a slow charge at a 5v=1a output, it is better than nothing. Aesthetically speaking, everyone has their own taste, but for me, these speakers looks pleasing just as much as it is listening to it. Overall, for the price range, I would choose over the JBL, Sony or Bose speakers. Especially if you snag one during a sale.

Excelent speaker and portable 20 hours function and fast charger

Reasons for selecting Marshall Stockwell bluetooth Speaker against other brand: • Right Size • 25 hours of wireless music, that is the longest • Very Good Sound, compared to Klipsch, Sony and Bose • Separate Volume, Bass and Treble control • Aux input for wired source and the best part is, it was on sale so the price was lower than known brands. And on a side note, I have known the Marshall brand since the 70's and I am so glad that they have kept up with the tech of today.. I am also using a Marshall Stanmore as my PC speaker... best sounding one speaker I have use for a computer.

I purchased this speaker for my son during christmas, it is by far the best bluetooth speaker I have purchased to date. Marshall makes amplifier speakers for guitars so naturally they know what they are doing. Pros, long battery life, loud sound with great bass, sleek, and its portable. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase a bluetooth speaker very economical compared to other speakers on the market.

Great speaker, excellent design, just the same quality like their amplifiers, It has an excellent sound, great bass and treble, and you can charge some devices like your mobile, If you want a speaker with great sound, large battery life and portable This is for you.

Looks awesome. Has some weight to it. One thing i wish they had done is not have cloth/fabric on the stand. You end up getting stains, dirt, etc. on your speaker once you fold it up. Other than that, sound is pretty good. The AUX input is on top, which i'm not a fan of, because your cord sticks up and takes away from the cool design. Sound is pretty good and it looks awesome. There are much lighter and smaller sized bluetooth speakers out there with the same or better sound, but for a cool conversation piece in your house, this is a clear winner.

Ive been in the market for a Speaker, since using Marshall amp/cabinets playing guitar I decided to try out the Stanmore. Awesome Speaker, and the design is outstanding. The sound is deep/ clear , and the bass & high adjustment is a nice feature to have. I owned a beats pill and it couldn't hold a candle stick to the marshall. It resembles a Marshall 1960 Speaker cabinet / Marshall JCM amp combined in a way that really looks good. The Vinyl wrap with velvet interior looks very slick too. Marshall hit a home run here. Great speaker!...the design is awesome. Looks like a guitar amp. Comes with a very nice protective case so you can take it places with you and it remains protected. Synced up with my phoen super easy and the sound is great. Not as much bass as some of the more "hip" speakers out there but this is designed more for Rock type of music. The speaker lets you individually control the effects of the treble and bass. Battery lasts for a long time and charges pretty quick. Great Speaker

As somewhat of an Audiophile, I am pretty particular about bluetooth speakers for my phone (since I have several). Saw the sale ad for the Marshall Stockwell speaker and read many reviews on it, then took the plunge and bought it without listening to it in the store. Initial impression; Wow! First of all, I love the design and the fact that it included the folding stand which enables the speaker to be propped up at an angle. the rotary volume, bass and treble knobs are a nice touch. To my ears, the best sound balance is with both bass and treble set at 4 (out of 10). Now for the sound: The bass is good and tight (produced by the twin woofers and twin passive radiators) and well balanced. The mids (produced by twin full-range speakers) are very musical and non-fatiguing. The highs (also from the full-range speakers) are well produced adding air and sparkle to the music. The sound stage is also tops with some sounds appearing to come from beyond the cabinet walls and with good depth. Some of the reviews mentioned distortion at high volume but this is not an issue for me as I listen mostly at low to moderate levels. Also my music preference tends toward smooth jazz, mellow rock and some classical. All in all, I am completely satisfied with this speaker. It is amazing that this rather small speaker can produce such a large and full sound.

Great device, loud and sounds great! I've been using it around the house for a month now and it's great to use for all generes including audiobooks due to the easy access to treble and base!

I don’t understand when people says it has no bass. It does, just add bass booster to the device you use and it enhances it. I bought this on sale for 99.00, great for the price. I have a Bose SL3 and it has a better, sound quality but the battery on the Marshal last about 15 hrs longer. Great for on the go, Also a great gift for someone who doesn’t have one. I have about 5 wireless speakers in several different homes and this is the easiest to hook up. The knob feature on this speaker is a great especially if you are charging your phone or iPad and don’t have it nearby. I highly recommend in light of the price.

Was looking for blue tooth speaker when sitting outside and this Marshall sounds great plus when my phones battery goes down I can plug it in to the back and have power, totally impressed but you can expect that from a Marshall, sound quality is very impressive, the stockwell is the cheaper of the line but it has the features that suits me the best.

We listen to vast range of music and the sound quality is really good. Bass has excellent depth . Overall clear and crisp sound. Unit is portable and easIly connects to Bluetooth. Highly recommend!

I got this speaker when it was on sale, great deal !! I like its small size, easy to pack and take along, nice sound with good bass and its overall design, so classy. I found it no problem connecting with Bluetooth to all my devices. Overall, I think it is a great purchase of a small wireless speaker.

Great, full bodied music with ample bass (not to be confused with subwoofer bass) This thing gets LOUD, yet retains it's sonic purity. A good equalizer and this thing will kick ... and the battery lasts forever...I would of given it 5 stars if you could advance or repeat tracks.
