Great speaker

Marshall Woburn MultiroomWireless - 50/50 about it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm 50/50 about the Marshall Woburn Multiroom Wireless speaker. I've owned the speaker for 2 months. The exterior box looks nice because it looks like an amp. This speaker has a major flaw. It has no "on/off" switch. It only sleeps after 20 minutes. I had to attach a surge strip to turn "on/off." What a drag. Also, the downloadable App is a plus, but I don't use it because it's meant for multiple speakers. Lastly, it is very expensive for decent sound. Perhaps, I should've researched another brand that's better for the dollar.

Thanks for your feedback regarding the Marshall Woburn Multi-Room speaker. We appreciate hearing from our customers and would like to address a few of your comments.
The Marshall Multi-Room speakers are designed to always be plugged in and powered on so that music is available at any time that you choose to listen to your music. They will enter a semi-active state that powers down the LED lights after 30 sec during playback if there has been no user interaction with the speaker or the app. After 20 minutes of no audio output or user interaction, the speaker will enter a standby mode.
The Marshall Multi-Room app can be used to control multiple speakers and the Multi-Room features, however it also allows you to control the speaker's volume, input methods and set preset Spotify Playlists or Internet Radio stations. The app allows you to interact with the speaker even if you are located out of reach of the speaker.
