The Martin Logan dynamo 700 subwoofer is great for the bottom end of your home theater. This subwoofer replicates smooth thundering bass without distortion even at high volume. The bass is precise and the subwoofer and enclosure are well built. These can be setup to front fire or down fire the bass. I chose to allow mine to down fire because the bass could be felt more and seemed to disperse throughout the room more lively. I am very satisfied with this subwoofer. I would recommend using two subwoofers, No matter which subwoofer you go with. Two dynamo 700 subs more than fill in the entire theater room with deep, precise bass that is surprisingly musical for audio tracks. Great buy!

Love this sub. It added the missing woopf to the movie experience without have a large sub. The small size makes the wife happy, the great performance makes me happy. Win-Win!

If you are considering a Dynamo 500 spend the extra dollars and buy the 700. The 700 is massive upgrade.

Sub sounds good and hits hard. Not good for inside of a cabinet, hits and will vibrate to hard. Not really a good downfiring sub because it has some power.

Decided on this sub after a lot of debating between the dynamo 500 and 1000. This sub has plenty of base and is definantly a good contribution to a full surround sound system.

Some subs just pump out thumping, non-distinct bass, this sub is clear and brings out so much low end intricacies when listening to music or watching movies. I purchased this sub over the Dynamo 1000 only because of the Subwoofer Holiday Event by Martin Logan in 2016 with authorized retailers that offered a great deal when purchased with the Motion 40 speakers. My father has a Dynamo 1000 and while it is slightly superior to the Dynamo 700, the differences are minimal at usual listening levels.

I started with a pair of the Dynamo 1000W 12" but couldn't move the volume past a crack without shaking the paint off the walls. I returned for a set of these Dynamo 700W's and I'm very satisfied. Yes, the very bottom end sounds a touch less deep (likely the difference of 2") but only the very discerning ear would notice. These guys deliver great punch in my 7.2.2 ATMOS theater.

First I bought Dynamo 500 wasn't bad but I didn't like all the cables. Than I found out that for little extra money I can get 700 wireless. I love it since I "plugged it" in. Now I'm all Martin Logan 5.1 and I would recommend this brand for everyone. Best speakers I've ever heard!!!

After owning and loving the Def. Tech. line I thought we'd never part. Their subs are great! The Martin Logan's are on another level. This sub produces true, tight bass. It is not "boomy" or loose. Out of the box it's phenomenal, after break-in it's absurd; truly! I doubt that there is another sub at this price point that even comes close. I highly recommend this sub!

It’s nice to have a cabinet this small and put out this much sub, great for music and movies

I bought this to replace an old Klipsch sub that quit working after 10 years. I found it as an open box item with all accessories including the wireless transmitter for $239 including the factory 3 year warranty. All I can say is WOW!! This sub is so compact yet dead accurate. It is not boomy but very clean and tight bass. My room is 10 feet by 22 feet with cathedral ceilings and it fills the room with awesome bass. It matched up perfecly to my Pioneer Elite SCLX 501 receiver.

More power than I need! Never dialed in more than half way. Clean tight bass.

I got this for a good price. Its an excellent subwoofer that makes an impact with my overall system. Nice deep bass sound.

This subwoofer is incredible at delivering the sound and feel of a crisp low decibel acoustic experience from music and video. The 700W fills the sound stage with a rich, deep and sweet melodies and brings action alive in DVD viewing. I actually ducted while the helicopters moved in from overhead onto the top of the scene. This Dynamo is a subwoofer designed to please the most discerning audiophile.

This sub-woofer rolls like a Sierra Nevada thunderstorm. The rumble of a Star Destroyer's engines sounds awesome from this thing!

This sub sounds deep clear and punchy. Small foot print but can get loud also BB price match a competitor.

I bought this subwoofer for it's bluetooth wireless capabilities. So far it is working great! The sound quality is superb.
