I purchasesd both, compared and kept the MLs and returned the Polks. To be fair, both sounded great. The Polk has much better bass response, nice and punchy (note the frequency depth between the two in the specs), BUT the MLs had much better midrange response (vocals, etc). The Polk strong (good) bass response was at the cost of the midrange, to where the vocals were buried while the MLs sounded better when considering the fullness of the entire song.
