    The Best Speakers for Outside

    These have to be some of the best speakers that I've owned. Even cranked up to the loudest volume they sound great. I would definitely buy these again. The installation was was also easy to do. Definitely a DYI job.

    Amazing Sound

    These speakers are LOUD but also very clear and have great response. I have them hooked up to an old yamaha receiver and it may even be a little underpowered.

    Great sound and price 7,5 inch woofer

    Great sound and price. Best Buy selling ML 75AW at $366 clearance price for pair. While other retailers sell for $859 for pair. ML 75AW offer more base than the Martin Logan 65AW which is undiscounted for $$660 at Best Buy I bought the ML 75 pair to match my identical Paradigm 470 outdoor speakers ( a sister company to Martin logan) They sound and look identical to the paradigm 470. The ML and paradigm woofers are 7.5 inches and an inch bigger than many other brand’s 6.5 inch high end speakers, Yet ML and paradigm speaker cabinet dimensions are about the same as other brands’ 6.5 inch speakers. As you can see in advertisements the 7.5 inch woofer of the Martin Logan goes to the edge of the cabinet without much border. Can’t go wrong at this price. ML and Paradigm are in the premium category of outdoor speakers but at this price for ML-75 is a great deal. These are brand new, not refurbished and were also returnable if I was not satisfied.I run both the ML and Paradigm pairs through a single SONOS Amp connected through a Niles SSVC -6 speaker selector. I also connect Klipsch rock speakers to same selector.

    Best outdoor speakers!!

    These speakers are the best, my goodness!! I wanted a nice sound for my patio and these were the ones to get, I’m familiar with ML anyhow the speakers were bigger than I thought, but that also means bigger sound, easy mounting...

One of the benefits of in-ceiling speakers is how easily they disappear into a room. Unfortunately, the sound coming from the back of the speaker doesn’t disappear and can distract those in the rooms above the speakers. MartinLogan offers back boxes, or enclosures, for Motion XT CI In-ceiling speakers. For these situations where sound control is desired, these retrofittable back boxes are the perfect solution. They offer 20dB of noise reduction into adjacent areas and offer the perfect solution to achieve consistent performance where ceiling cavity sizes may vary throughout an installation. Please note that the volume of air in the retrofit enclosure is smaller than that of your ceiling, and bass extension will be reduced. If sound control is not necessary for your unique installation, we recommend not using the back box so the speaker can take advantage of the larger airspace in your ceiling cavity.
