Fantastic speakers, I use them mostly for listening to music and movies other wise, have it coupled with a ML Center , Pioneer Amp and Def Sub, they sound phenomenal. One should give them a listen to believe it.

You will notice the craftsmanship and quality when you open the package. Pair this item with a good receiver and the sound is excellent. No complaints at all.

I was looking for a good upgrade for my Infinity front channel speakers and these fit the bill perfectly. They have excellent highs and mid range qualities. I have 2 subwoofers so these didn't need to have extremely low bass but I tried them without subwoofers when I tested them and the bass was more than adequate. I am quite pleased with this choice.

Great sounding speakers. Got a pair for my music room and the sound quality is awesome. Great highs and middles. Can hear the quality of the music. Would recommend a subwoofer for the lows to help with bass heavy music though. Highly recommended!!

When I first disconnected my Cerwin Vegas and Big old Pioneer CS907's, I felt a little sad and awkward as if I were making a mistake with my system. Once my new ML's were out of the box, I felt an overwhelming sense of hope as these speakers look and feel fantastic...even my girlfrined agreed. I fired-up my Amp and selected 'Anastasia' on the new Slash CD. I admit that I was not prepared for the fullness and depth that came from my stereo system. Immediately I was filled with joy and a sense of achievement that my decision to buy these speakers was probably the best decision I could have made. I've listened to some pretty high end systems and mine sounded as good as a 30K$ equivalent. If anyone should ever ask me what speakers they should buy, I will not hesistate to tell them to buy these ML's. Happy listening!

I am very happy with the speakers. So much I bought a second pair. I have a fairly good size living room and I run the four 40's bi amp with and 9.2 amp. Along with a center channel and two subs. Bi amp the speakers makes a noticeable difference. Nice looking speaker too. I couldn't spend this much on a speaker and have it covered with vinyl contact with fake wood grain.

These speakers not only sound great, they also look good. The sound is crisp, clear, and true for the treble, bass, and mid-range. We use them for TV, DVD's, radio, and music. We were concerned about adding floor speakers because they might detract from the look of our room, but these are slim and unobtrusive. Highly recommend.

This tower is the best tower i ever had in my life. in my opinion these are better that electrostatic towers

The Martin Logan Motion 40 is a great speaker. It is well packaged and promptly delivered by Best Buy.

These floorstanding speakers are amazingly crisp and clear. Realistic lows and amazing highs. I don't think you can get a crisper sounding floorstanding speaker. The high gloss black looks incredible too.

I purchased these Martin Logans to replace the klipsch speakers I had. These speakers give nice, clean sound that brings what you are watching to life! I love the glossy black finish....so classy!

I got these on sale to replace my 13 years old Wharfedale Diamond Series towers & Center. I thought the Wharfedales were excellent speakers for the money but these are just on absolutely another level. Mated with the Motion 30 center plus a 12" SW for ht with Marantz 6013 as preamp and my workhorse Carver 5 channel amp to push, I am a happy camper! Can't imagine anything sounding better unless you spend 3 times as much, even then...This won me over for the sound as well as the looks. Wife acceptance factor was off the chart and she hates big boxy speakers.

Very happy with unit. It's just right for a small living room. Sounds are better than using the inexpensive long bar speaker below the TV. Movie and DVD sounds are more pronounced so it makes it more enjoyable watching them.

I've been a fan of Martin Logan since I discovered the smaller motion 4's. The Folded Motion Tweeters sound unreal! I had my eyes on a pair of these for about 6 months while waiting to move into a new home. As great as the Motion 4's sounded, I wanted to upgrade to their bigger brother to fill the space in the living room. I finally picked them up and can't get enough! My Fiance even likes the looks of them and she typically could care a less about a speaker. They look sharp! The 40's are currently my mains, Motion 6 Center Channel, Dynamo 700 Sub, and ML-60I's for the surrounds - All connected to a Yamaha RX-A760. Home theater sounds full and dynamic. I know they can get much much louder than I'll typically push them, but they are very capable.

New technology is awesome! I can't get over how much more I hear with these speakers. I can't wait to get the surround and elevation speakers. The highs are amazing and the bass is crisp and sharp.

I purchased the motion 40 front floor standing speaker pair to compliment my Martin Logan motion center and Martin Logan motion surround channel speakers. The motion 40 speakers can handle anything you throw at them, they are very uniquely realistic for watching movies. The high frequencies are extremely crisp and clear and the lower frequencies can thunder down to meet my Martin Logan dynamo 700 subwoofers perfectly which really results in well balanced sound throughout the room. I am very happy I chose Martin Logan for my home theater
