Speakers are broken in by now and sound great. Huge difference from my old 5.1 system using bookshelf on stands w paradigm sub that blew prompting my decision to upgrade. Also purchased the Motion 50xt ML center and the SVS SB 3000 sub. As some mentioned, sound may be a little sterile compared to Bowers & Wilkins but at half the price my ears can deal with it.

I upgraded an old Floor standing speaker for this. At first I was worried about the high price and the small tower look. When Magnolia gentlemen turned it on I was blown away. Again I still thought I wouldn’t get the same sound output at home (because Magnolia calibrate theirs). I went with it and man was I amazed by the sound at home as well. Clear sound and the solid base. My movies were soo enjoyable. Very happy for the quality for the price I paid!

If you care about clean accurate sound then these are great speakers! Please be aware if your source music is bad it does not help to have such wonderful speakers. Spotify streams hi bit rate music, HD tracks....as well. I power the Logans with a Marantz receiver. I have 50xt center and movies are great. They even gave me a Martin Logan Sub/

I recently upgraded my living room receiver and wanted to get a new set of fronts to as well. My parents have always had Martin Logan's so I wanted a pair for myself. With new and correct speaker wires the sound is phenomenal. I have them hooked up in bi-amp mode which makes great speakers sound even better. These offer audiophile sound without breaking the bank.

Great looking and sounding speakers. I'm pushing the speakers with the Pioneer elite receiver. Speaker sound even better once you Bi amp them. I plan on buying two more of them.

I listened to a lot of speakers over several days and over several genres of music. I was extremely impressed with this set of speaks. Outstanding highs and mids, beautiful finish, people are constantly amazed when they hear them. My only complaint is I emailed Martin Logan and they did not call or email me back.

very clear tones, the base is very solid and a very attractive speaker.

They look and sound great. One of the metal grilles was slightly warped when it arrived and Martin Logan sent out a free replacement, but Best Buy wouldn't help, said they could only accept a return and then get a whole new speaker sent out. Seemed like a waste of everyone's time and money.

I purchased these Martin Logans Motion 40 speakers to compliment my Denon 4300 AVR and so far I am not disappointed , No regrets with this purchase. I get a lot of compliments from my friends when they hear the quality sound and I would definitely recommend these speakers.

I purchased this speakers . tested them out at best buy & I loved the sound , brought them home & love them even more . I am used to watching movies on the weekend, so now I don't need to spend money going out to the theater. I got my own theater at home with all my devices from bestbuy , affordable & you even get the reward points WOW

I love Martin Logan speakers and these Motion 40's gave my just what I was looking for great sound. I am using these for the rear surround sound to compliment my Martin Logan 60's that I have for the front sound in my entertainment system.

Clear, powerful, crisp sound out of a speaker that competes way above its price point. Paired with a nice pioneer amp and enjoy sounds you haven't heard before. Quite happy!

I debated whether to get these speakers for quite awhile and after convincing myself I did. I'm so glad because they are so worth it. Music to the ears and pleasing to the eyes. These speakers fill the room with unbelievable music, you can hear the instruments come alive.

I have owned several sets of speakers from Klipsch, Pinnacle, Sony, and Emotiva and these Martin’s destroy them all! I purchased them after hearing a friends ML center and I have since replaced all my HT speakers with MLs.

I purchased this pair of Martin Logan motion 40 floor standing speakers and I am very pleased with their performance for both theater and music. I would definitely recommend these excellent speakers to anyone looking for top notch performance!
