Wow, What a difference! Home theater requires the center speaker to be one of the most important parts of the surround experience. This Motion 50XTi Center blows me away with the clarity. punch and fullness! Dialog becomes unmistakable, even with poorly mixed audio sources. Crystal clear yet smooth and never harsh or thin sounding. Music is no exception either. Comes through w/ a feeling of being there. Perfect match if you have the higher quality Motion series towers and/ or surrounds. I replaced an audiophile Definitive Technology Center, and I have to say I am very happy with the result. The def tech was great, but this one is fantastic. Perfect+ w/ my Motion 60XT towers. A keeper for certain.

The voices sound very clear and plays loud. The only issue with the speaker is lack of bass. Subwoofer needed.

I've only owned this speaker for a few hours. I originally bought the Motion 30i to go with my left/right Motion 60XTi's. Then after a month of listening to them, I was sure the Motion 30i wasn't a good match for the other ones. So I returned it and bought the Motion 50XTi instead. After only listening to it for a few hours, I can confidently say this speaker sounds great and integrates very well with my Motion 60XTi's and the Dynamo 1600X sub, Dialogs are much clearer now, and also much more distinguishable from the ambient sound in the movies. Very happy with my purchase now.

Got this on clearance, what an upgrade.. wow! Makes it harder to watch tv in the living room without the surround setup because this center really makes dialogue that muuch better.

Matches very well with the ESL Classic and truly opens uo the stage. Great sound recreation. Be wary of the large size.

This center channel completes my 5 channel ML setup: 2 Motion 60XTI front channel, 2 Motion FX surround and this 50XTI center channel. The 60XTIs are driven by a Krell 250KAV power amp, and the 50XTI/FX pair are driven by an Anthem mca30 power amp. Together, this is an awesome setup for home theater sound. I also listened to several multi-channel SACD music discs and for the first time, truly liked multi-channel SACD sound. Overall, much superior to the Definitive Tech 5 channel speakers the ML replace.

Absolutely amazing center channel. Dont usually go for this large a center channel and in this price range but it was completely necessary. Movie dialogue alone makes this thing stand out. Its a hefty piece of equipment but its a perfect piece to go with my ML floorstaning speakers.

I previously owned the Motion 30, which is a really nice center but the Motion 50XTi really shines in comparison. The extra punch of the larger woofers and clarity of the upsized tweeter work with my Motion 40 towers. I was concerned that there was going to be a mismatch but it blends nicely across the front listening stage. Overall I'm happy paying the extra cash to upgrade to this center channel.

Best center channel I’ve ever had, it’s bright but crystal clear voice, piano, and strings sound perfect. I love it. It’s my first Martin Logan product but I will be swapping out some more components.

This center channel is definitely better than most, but at time the dialog can be drown out with back ground noise. Pairs well with other Martin Logan speakers!

The speaker sounds amazing! I did not know a lot about theaters when I was looking to purchase my speakers. So I went to Best Buy and demoed a variety of speakers Before I decided to purchase Martin Logan. Am I opinion this one sounds the best. Happy customer!

Didn't think I needed a center channel, but boy was I wrong. Made a huge difference and spending the extra to get this versus the smaller version was a good thing. Sound is crystal clear and powerful

I had a Polk Audio center speaker for a long time. When watching movies, I always had difficulty hear the conversations. I though that it must be my hearing problem. After I replace it with this Motion 50XTi center speaker, the difference in conversation clarity is dramatic. Now I know what I was missing.

Amazing sound! If you upgrade any thing in your theater, upgrade your center channel with this.

Martin Logan makes excellent speakers. They are worth the cost, but they definitely hurt the wallet. They should last for years so they are a buy once, hurt once situation.
