Fun game in need of a roster expansion
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mechanics and overall gameplay are fast-paced and fun. It's pretty easy to pick up and start playing immediately, yet there's enough depth there for hardcore fighting game players. The only complaint I have is the roster. There are enough characters, but they are some glaring omissions. I'm assuming this may be some sort of copyright thing, but it's a shame to not see some of the expected characters. Otherwise, easy to recommend.

Next Gen POW!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite helps to bring the series to the Next Generation of Consoles by building a cast of the most iconic Marvel heroes from the Avengers & Guardians of the Galaxy as well some Capcom's best characters from each of it's greatest IPs. The New Infinity Stone Mechanic is a nice edition to the Gameplay as well, allowing victory to feel all the more satisfying. While there are not enough new characters to balance out with the over abundance of returning characters, the downgrade from three to two characters per team is slightly upsetting, the lack of X-Men characters is certainly upsetting for fans of mutant team, and the Story was embarrassingly in serious need of Marvel's writing expertise. I don't think the Lack of X-Men characters is a huge loss considering their sparse relationship with Thanos and the Infinity Stones. Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is great return to form for the series that will satisfy Marvel Superhero fans and Die-Hard fans of Capcom greatest franchises everywhere.

Awesome Fighting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The story mode is lacking; I wanted more. If your looking for fighting this is the game you want. I would have liked more characters. Hoping to see them introduced with DLC

Disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good gameplay ruined by limited content, short story, blurry graphics, and terrible character roster. No X-Men, only 2 Street Fighter characters, and some of the worst characters from the previous game were recycled with no improvements. You’d think they’d add new characters from Resident Evil 7, Dead Rising 3, or Street Fighter 5, maybe bring back Ken, Cable, Gambit, and other favorites from the first two games. Nope. The whole thing just feels lazy and low budget.

Prefer the Art from MvC3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think the gameplay is solid but honestly believe they dropped the ball with the artwork for this one. The roster could use some more additions as well.

Something’s missing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is a good game, but it isn’t a great one. The presentation isn’t ugly, but from the boring menus to the static character select screen, this game felt more like a budget title than the latest in a storied franchise. The art style compounds that fact—MVC3’s comics-inspied look translated far better. As far as gameplay, using Infinity Stones to augment characters is a welcome touch, and making battles two-on-two instead of three-on-three allows players to focus on mastering their chosen warriors. However, I wish there was more variety among those warriors. The roster doesn’t dive far into the comics, instead opting for characters featured prominently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This isn’t a problem if you weren’t looking to get obscure with your roster though. Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is not a bad experience. Gameplay wise, Capcom has made enough changes to keep things interesting. However, the game feels like a hastily-created budget title otherwise.

Great sequel in the Marvel VS Capcom franchise!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There have been a few fighting games that have already come out the last year, and for the most part they’ve been very good. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite whilst not as good as some of the other fighting games this year is a very good addition to the genre and it’s a game packed with fun and decent action. The fighting gameplay has been done really well and their is a great deal of strategy to be had when in battle. The strategy in the game is mainly down to the inclusion of infinity stones, and this inclusion makes every fight feel unique and keeps things fresh throughout. The story in the game was very enjoyable, and my favourite part about it was that they made every character feel important, which is great. The roster of characters though wasn’t as big as I thought it was going to be and there are plenty of characters missing, which is a bit of a let down. In terms of content the game has plenty for you to sink your teeth into, and each mode feels as though it’s had a lot of effort put into it. My favourite thing about the game is that it has catered to all skill levels so nobody gets left out, which is great. The presentation side of the game is something I was really disappointed with. The visuals and sound design are really lacking, and you just get a generic feel with nothing much standing out, which is a shame. At the end of the day Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is a game that ticks a lot of boxes, and the most important thing is that it remains enjoyable throughout. I wouldn’t say it’s as good as previous fighters this year, but it does enough to join these fighters and it can at times offer a unique experience. Fans of Marvel and Capcom will enjoy this game a great deal and it gets the main aspects right so it gets a big thumbs up from me.

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just started playing the game. The controls are simple enough and the graphics are pleasant. My problem is the story mode so far is choppy at best. It feels short like 30 second bits (yes I'm exaggerating but still short for the amount of load time required) If you're a Marvel fan its a solid pick up at 30- or less.

Fun. The HD space needed is ridiculous!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a fun game. In pretty casual and just play locally with my friends and my son. I couldn't even begin to tell you if it's good from a hardcore competitive standpoint. The one thing I don't like about it is the hard drive space needed, and the download time. Maybe I'm just an old man complaining here, but I shouldn't have to wait an hour for a game to update, and for that update to take up 46GB of space, just to play a game.

Its an OK Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is fun, but it gets a little repetitive after playing for a while. You will miss the great characters from previous versions. The Story mode is not that great. to much time to load between stories and battles. If you play Arcade or online mode is more fun.

Great Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was leery of purchasing this game since I hadn't completed Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and there were no X-Men or Fantastic Four characters. I wanted until the price dropped. I've been playing the story mode and loving it. I hate the roster is so small, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I would wait until you could catch it when it's under $20.

Just not what I was expecting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm going to be brief. The gameplay itself is fun, but this game just doesn't feel like a MvC game with the lack of x-men characters. Imagine SF without Ryu, or MK without Scorpion/Sub-Zero. Some characters just shouldn't be taken out of the roster.

Memorable arcade fighting game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played marvel vs Capcon series throughout my childhood into adulthood and have always been a fan of this classic fighting game. You get the best of both worlds with unique characters from two different genres but my only complaint is there is not enough playable characters.
