Native Instruments has built tremendous software for over a decade, and their foray into hardware has been equally successful. This little box is very well laid out and is a seamless connection with the software. Making beats, dropping bass lines, ringing out some amazing leads... ALL are easy with this amazing tool and can happen right out of the box. Plus, with the wealth of knowledge out there via Native Instruments user groups and other online resources, you can usually find any answer to any question you may have about how to get the most out of your Maschine. I bought this Maschine not knowing how to use it. I was empressed with it. I love it. It's easy to use and the end product ( the beats) are in creditable. Money is worth buying

GREAT FOR THE WORLD OF MUSIC PRODUCTION,bridges the gap between hardware music production utensils such as the classic akai mpc series and the esonique asr 10 i suggest using a mac or pc with your ram maxed out to get a smoother work flow,once again with a good computer you cant go wrong,and will fully utilize all the program has to offer.

Easy to learn and master if you willing to put in the work

I got this at a steal on clearance with an additional 20% off clearance price total $372 for a Brand New Maschine that cost $600. As for the Maschine if you make electronic music (Hip-Hop, R&B, Dubstep, Techno, etc...) then your working harder not better without this device

if your on the verge of buying a midi drum pad look no further this is the best of the best.

In order to use the Maschine 2 controller you must download huge 10 Gig file from NI. The Maschine software is not included in box and must be downloaded.(only library is included) Installation process is very time consuming and frustrating. 2 hours to download the software. Why does file so big not come on DVD? Please save yourself you have been warned.
