This is great for fans of Dan Curtis, Dark Shadows... primarily the original but with some good coverage of the 90's remake, as well as Winds of War and War and Remembrance. However I was extremely disappointed that there was nearly nothing but a brief mention of the TV movie The Night Stalker. As far as Kolchak The Night Stalker... either more on the movies (including The Night Strangler) or the series would have been most welcome and expected. Although the series only ran for one season the first movie was the highest rated/most watched TV movie till that time and for a long time after. The second movie did very respectfully and the series had some excellent and extremely memorable episodes. Without Kolchak The Night Stalker we would not have had The X-Files and so much more. Why none of this was included I cannot imagine but I hope in future something can be done to rectify this.

It seems odd that a kid would want to watch any sort of soap opera but this, even though it was shown during soap time, was not a soap in my opinion. I admit I haven’t watched it in many years and I don’t know how well it would hold up but the fact that you had a show with vampires, werewolves and the supernatural, also some time travel, it was right up my alley back in the day. This doc looks back at the show and Dan Curtis, the director. It also discusses major movies he did as well. If any of this interests you, I highly recommend it!
