I loved view master growing up. It's not the same however it's stilll interesting and nice to enjoy.

Awesome gift for kids, great learning tool and vr woks great!

If you did not read entire menu and just follow steps pictured on the box, you phone will get trapped inside if you did not remove the phone case. It is virtually impossible to get it back without almost destroying the latch. So, remove the case first!

I would reccomend this for anyone who wants to experience vr

This is a nice, cheap VR viewer. I wanted something more robust than the cardboard viewers, and this works. The Viewmaster apps didn't work well, but there are plenty of other options on the Google Play Store. It is not totally immersive, but it is a lot of fun for a low cost; I don't have to worry when I hand it over to my 3 yr old.

Kids loved being able to try VR and I loved the price.

This is the best Google Cardboard viewer I have had.

Everytime me and my kids go to Best Buy they always have to play with the Samsung VR. We don't have Samsung phones so I did some research on what would work with iPhones. I found these cheap to try out and they work pretty well for the price. My kids love using them :) My boys have iPod touch 5s and they work just fine in it

Purchased soon after upgrading my phone, definitely a must if your phone is compatible. Whether it's 360 videos in YouTube, exploring distant countries in Street view, or playing some of the various vr games in the app stores, You will be hard pressed to find awe inspiring fun for the price of this headset.

My kids love this. It keeps them entertained, and is very easy to operate

I like it a lot but had to return it since it damaged the screen protector on my phone and my wife's. Fortunately it didn't scratch the screen. Tried multiple times different ways but every time the protector was getting more damaged.

Kids like it. I just don't like the fact they need to use my cellphone.

This isn't a bad little VR kit, but it is really not for gaming. However, it's great for kids since it lets them explore different environments. It's also pretty drop resistant. (It survived my 4 year old son).

Excellent idea. Too many quirks need to be worked out. Phone app is overwhelming for both the user and the smart phone. Pass card swiping will give u a workout and easily frustrate. No no no!!!!!

Purchased the "Mattel - View-Master Virtual Reality Starter Pack - Red/Black/White" for a child. Found that it was effective but heavy for long time usage.

This is a great upgrade to google cardboard. Plastic, but well made. Fun callback to original viewmaster including the trigger/button. Would be 4-stars if not for the incredible omission of any accommodation for audio. VR without audio is barely half the experience. However, they didn't think to drill a hole so you can use headphones. Instead, the phone's little speaker plays from inside a plastic cavern. Not cool. If u own a Dremel then fine, but you shouldn't need to.
