This unit replaced a Whirlpool microwave I had for about four years. I bought this one because it has a 10 year warranty. Installation was simple as the air duct and mounting plate for the old unit was a perfect match from the Whirlpool. This microwave is 5-10 pounds heavier than my old one. That probably explains why it is also significantly more quiet while running. Construction is good. The sheet metal seems to be a bit heavier gauge. I've only used the sensor cooking once and it was for popcorn. It took about 30 seconds longer than I manually set it for. But that included a 20 second cool down.

The microwave is awesome with one slight deficiency - it doesn't have a hold warm. We selected this microwave based on the larger capacity and sturdy construction; it helped that it was on sale. Our prior microwave, which didn't seem to be as sturdy, also had a number of potatoes selection in the auto cook; we miss that feature too. This unit was the easiest microwave install that I have done.

Picked up this Maytag for half of what others were asking, so on price alone it's great. Has great features and is much quieter than the one it replaced.

Super quiet. Easy to use and has a lot of great features. Exhaust fan is noisy on high, but it does a great job of exhausting.

We were looking for a Stainless Steel Over-the-Range Microwave to replace the old hood in our kitchen. We went to the local Best Buy and found this as an open-box at about half the price; it was a no-brainer. Overall, the unit is really nice; the fan is surprisingly powerful, more so than our previous hood and the Microwave is powerful enough. The only thing that could be better is the end-of-cycle chime: it's not loud enough unless your kitchen is really quiet.

The Maytag MW is very attractive stainless inside and out. Works well. Couple of things we don't like: clock display is orangy in color so it does not coordinate well with ohter kitchen displays; exhaust fan is loud in all speeds (but draws well), and you do not have quick time buttons beyond the 30 second key (which we do use a lot). Minor for some but overall nice oven.

I purchased this over the counter microwave to replace my old Kenmore Microwave that was over 13 years old. This is great replacement - so far for over 2 weeks it has worked great & has plenty of room inside to put everything. Just be careful to not let the metal shelf touch the inside of the microwave for any reason.

We had a Jenn Air and it went out right on time in about 9 years. we bought this maytag and it is awesome. it looks great,works great, has a great warranty! We even love the tones it has when it finishes each service it performs. Really a great appliance. Great job Maytag!

This microwave is so easy to use and navigate. Heats items in no time and quite hot Unable to have installed due to electrical issues but for the moment it is just plugged in.

My last microwave died two days before Thanksgiving so I had to suddenly buy a new one. I found this one at Pacific Sales and it was a slightly higher model that I was looking at for and at a really good price, so I bought it. It was delivered much sooner than expected. I am quite happy with it--especially the stainless interior is really easy to clean. Also, I love the nice, friendly beep when it finishes cooking! It is so much nicer than the naggish loud BEEP from the the last one. I did, however, have to cook Thanksgiving dinner without a microwave, but that in itself is a major accomplishment.

It's a beautiful appliance. It's a tad bit big but happy with the purchase. It is quiet, so I don't necessarily hear the timer all the time. Only negative thing I noticed was the popcorn button doesn't pop the entire bag. There's quite a bit of unpopped kernels in the bag.

I have had many different models and this is the first one that heats appropriately. The sensing function and preprogrammed settings are easy to use. Haven't burned popcorn since buying this microwave.

Quietest microwave ever; controls intuitive; stainless interior - super easy to clean.

Although my previous microwave had 1650 watts and was awesome, this Maytag works very well with its much lower output.(1000w). I chose this style mainly on looks because it matched my other appliances but was more than pleased with both it's looks and performance. The only thing I don't care for is the display color. It's sort of an orange?

Was simple to install and get running. Extremely quiet and powerful.

I really like the quieter tones when the cooking is done. Overall, it microcooks just fine and I really like having it. It arrived much sooner than I expected, which was great since the old microwave died just before Thanksgiving Dinner.

I was looking for easy to use micro that was not overly priced and large enough for cooking. This item is very quiet and easy to use for someone who is not electronically knowledgeable. Love my micro
