This OTR MWO is a great addition to my new kitchen. It's a nice size and works well. Food heats up pretty quickly. I like that it's not overly complicated to use. Although the setting the time was kind of tricky.

I like having a microwave, but features don't really wow me. I bought this model to match the other new appliances for my kitchen. I do like that it feels solid. And I like the looks of the steel-rod handle, very sleek and industrial. This is also the first time I've had a stainless steel interior in a microwave - it's cool looking. One feature worth mentioning is the 30-second one touch start button. With the press of this one button, the microwave sets 30-seconds of cook time at high power and starts cooking. Nifty.

I bought this as a replacement for a 7 year old Maytag that was OEM with my newly constructed house. I did have to modify the holes to mount this one but the template that was provided made it simple. Very quiet and seems to warm items quicker. Definitely would buy again.

Very satisfied with the look and how the microwave cooks. Looks really nice and substantial. Just bought a Samsung slide in range and was looking for a matching microwave. All the Samsung microwaves looked very cheap and ugly (in my opinion). I saw this one and right off I liked the look and was willing to overlook the different handle to have this microwave. The only thing I don't like is the very annoying "song" it plays when it is done cooking. It goes on forever. There is no way to turn it off other than to turn off all sounds which means you can't hear any tones at all. And as luck would have it, there is an entirely different lovely song if you use the timer feature. Wish I could change those to just a beep but other than that, I love it!

BEWARE OF THIS MICROWAVE,, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY, IT HAS A KNOWN FLAW THAT MAYTAG WON’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET JUST ASK AS SIMPLE AS ( MAYTAG OVER THE RANGE MICROWAVE PROBLEMS) TRUST ME, YOU’LL FIND IT EVERYWHERE.. I CALLED MAYTAG HALF O DOZEN TIMES AND THEY WON’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, I WAS TOLD THAT I HAVE TO PAY FROM MY OWN POCKET TO FIKS IT, KEEP IN MIND I ALREADY DID FIKS IT ONCE ABOUT 6 MONTHS OF USE, THIS IS MY SECOND TIME THAT IT NEEDS TO BE FIKSED. THEY OFFERED ME A DISCOUNT MICROWAVE? WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I BUY ANOTHER ONE SO IT CAN DIE AGAIN. THEY ARE SO RUDE ON THE PHONE, I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR, THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD, AFTER WAITING 15-20 MINUETS IT GETS REROUTED TO THEM ANSWERING AGAIN AND YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER..THERE SHOULD BE A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM. ONE OF THE REPS ON THE PHONE TOLD ME , THAT THINGS DON’T LAST FOREVER, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDE, MY OVER THE COUNTER MICROWAVE THAT I STILL HAVE IS 20 YEARS OLD AND STILL WORKS. AND FOR BEING THE LARGEST APPLINCE COMPANY OUT THERE THEY ARE NOT STANDING BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT, I HAVE WRITTEN REVIEWS ON EVERY WEBSITE ,ANYTHING THAT I CAN WRITE A REVIEW ON , ON MY FACEBOOK,YOUTUBE, TWITTER, EVERYTHING.. IM GONNA TELL EVERYONE THAT I COME ACROSS, DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE..I AM NOT GONNA LEAVE THEM ALONE TILL I GET IT SOLVED,,$400 MICROWAVE TO ONLY LAST A YEAR.. IT DIDEN’T EVEN LAST SIX MONTHS. AND TO REPAIR IT , IT COST $100 FOR A SERVICE CALL, AND THEN THEY COME TO YOUR HOUSE ,THEY HAVE TO ORDER THE PARTS, THEY COME BACK , ANOTHER $100- WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH THEY WOULD CHARGE.. SHAME ON MAYTAG FOR KNOWING THE PROBLEM THAT THEY HAVE FOR A LONG TIME NOW, AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. MY FIRST TIME WHEN I GOT IT FIKSED , THE TECHNICIAN SAID THEY ARE USING CHEAP PARTS, ITS GONNA HAPPEN AGAIN,,AND IT DID. PLEASE DON’T GIVE MAYTAG YOUR MONEY THAT YOU WORK SO HARD FOR..

GOOD MICROWAVE, LOVE ALL THE FEATURES EASY TO CLEAN AND HAS BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE.

Only have had it up for a few days and really like it. Its quiet! The only thing I wish it had was white numbers for the time not orange.

Not even 6 months after buying and installing this microwave, the lights went out. I never had this happen to me before with any of the previous microwaves I've had. Looks nice though!

Easy to install, read through the manual and the unit is easy to use. Really like the baked potato function. Very quiet unit

This is a great product with all the right features as the right price. We mostly use our microwave for reheating and defrosting, and this does that as well as additional up to date feautres

o clearance was a must for me. searched long and hard for it. Good for you Maytag, Only appliance manufacturer I could find that had it. Priced reasonably, so far working well. I hope it lasts a reasonable amount of time. went through 2 OTR micros. Tough installing and removing. only lasted 2 yrs. Bought a $50 on the counter 4 yrs ago, still running. Kitchen redo the only reason OTR . Hope I don't regret it.
